Well the lad has gone under the knife and is expected to be out for a further 2 months or so, the fact that our transfers haven't gone through only highlights how threadbare we are there.

Still I wish the lad a very speedy recovery, and by the way it's the same injury he had for the wurzels but on the other knee.

Bad news for the boy, he'll be alright I'm sure though. Hopefully he can come back fitter than ever. Will he return to us after his injury then?

How long was his loan period? We may have seen the last of him.

Until the end of season, Vetch. Spurs do have a recall clause however. I'd hope, and assume, that if and when he's back to full fitness he'll rejoin us, even if they do terminate the loan for now.

Am gutted for the boy. He certainly has the potential to become a top top defender. i wish him a speedy recovery.

On a side note does anybody know if the club are doing anything to get some new cover in. EG the appeal over the 2 that have been turned down or any other attached players. At a time that we seem to be finding our feet it would be a shame if we fail due to some stupid desicion by fifa.

He knew he was going to get injured when he made the clearance. Brave lad. Good luck to him hope to see him back soon.

TLF, apparently Brendan is "scouring the out of contract players list". Having said that, there's no direct quotes and it's from the SWEP, so who knows if it's true!
