I think there will be a lot more to Bartons non call up than meets the eye to be honest. I would hardly think the suits at the FA are keen given the PR disaster that would follow as the scum newspapers raise up every skeleton they can. It would be an absolute **** storm leading up to the game. Also you've got to remember there are any number of fans across the country (even some Newcastle fans) who think he is lucky to be earning a living out of football, nevermind being bestowed with the honour of representing our country. I don't see it ever happening and I don't have a big problem with it. Partly because its of his own doing and mainly because I'd prefer he concentrated on us! Cattermole is sensible to raise the issue though. Maybe Cattermole is cleverer than he looks too, and is simply pointing out that there is nothing wrong with an agressive approach to the game. Nudge nudge, wink wink. If he can get himself under control on the pitch, I think he's a future England player being honest.
Catts was outstanding at Liverpool, one of his best games in the shirt. We said he needed to step up now with the competition, he did. Keep it going son, England is crying out for a holding midfielder that isn't a complete fanny.

Capello is the biggest disgrace as an English manager in history, refusing to call Barton up because of he's too much of a danger :S Ashley Cole shot someone for Christ's sake and John Terry sleeps with team mates wives, I know who id rather have on my team...
