    Has labelled the FA a "BUNCHOFTWATS" via Twitter

    Some excellent tweets in response to this, my favourite so far is: "When Asley Cole branded the FA a #BUNCHOFTWATS, was he condemning the FA or revealing the starting formation for Saturday?"

    Needless to say, it is yet another stroke of PR genius on Ashley Cole's part.

    The FA are a a bunch of twats but when you are employed by them you shouldn't publicly say that...

    Has made a grovelling apology, will be accepted and everyone will carry on with their lives.

    He may be a stupid dickhead but like him or not, he is the best LB that England have.
