Now I am not creating a thread complaining about the sponsor, but I think everyone will agree that putting on a black patch made it look a bit tacky, and to be fair having the Motherwell version of the logo would have looked a lot better. Could it be we had another sponsor and they pulled out when the shirts were already done leading to us sticking a patch over top like Needler sweets
Or Cravens Torches that might make more sense to me as i have a friend with the surname Craven, though he doesn't sell torches
Sorry to be a critic, but it wasn't Needlers sweets, it was the Needlers involved in Hoveringham Gravels (builders'/civil engineers' aggregates). Different family!
You'd have been barely able to see the logo if we'd had the plain Motherwell version on our stripes. The patch behind it was necessary, but it shouldn't be a shiny plastic thing it should be part of the template, and the sides of it should be the black stripes, not in the middle of amber ones. Why would you not do it as Snatch Coverers then give it to an old lady so it just looked like an accurate description of what the sponsor was on top of.
A white logo on the amber and black stripes would still have worked and would look way better than the current monstrosity.
