Looking for our 4th premiership scalp in a row in this Comp.
By the way - we can beat Huddersfield 4-0.
    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Good rail links from London to Bristol so half your fans will be able to make the journey easily (the other half already live near Bristol)

Blimey there isn’t much interest in this Comp here at all is there.
Hopefully we can do you a favour and relieve you of the burden of having to play any more games in it.

Always a bit quiet on here, we don't tend to pick our team apart or whinge about other teams like some PL boards.
Believe me, most of us would love to win this cup again, we just hope it will be one of the trophy's we win this season and not the only.

Shocked the top four clubs avoided each other after the stream of the draw was delayed two hours and then not done live :bandit:

Can't remember exactly, but either the most consecutive wins or the most consecutive games undefeated before Arsenal. Definitely remember it coming up when they also got the joint record back when they were still good, so probably most consecutive wins?

That's not the case, United tend to try to win this if possible. Like last season for instance. You'll find out how interested we are soon enough as your ground will be packed out with United supporters, just like it was at Swansea on Tuesday.

It's worth winning, it creates a platform to win more. I don't get why anyone is so disdainful of the competition at all.

Spurs are the obvious. Targeting the league and Champions League. Spurs for **** sake! They've won **** all for years and they think they're above the league cup. Which happens to be the last thing they ever won, years back.

Hard to get all that interested about a game in mid December when we have three CL games and matches against Spurs, Chelsea, City and Arsenal beforehand. And don't you guys have a playoff push to focus on in the meantime?

Come back the week of the match we'll be more interested then <ok>

This is the most irritating thing about this game for me. Bristol is the worst place in the UK for 'glory fans' for want of a better term. We have a city and catchment area of over a million people (wrongly put down to about 450k due to the weird population count around here), but combined the two big Bristol clubs have attendances of 25k-30k per week. Yet put us into a cup final or the like and we will easily take 40k-50k, probably more in some cases. A large cause of that is Bristol football supporters simply becoming a Sky Sports fan and choosing a Premier League club.

Because of that, there are going to be a ton of Bristolian but United 'fans' in the home end, and I can see it getting quite messy in a few situations. It is what has held Bristol football back for so long, because in the right circumstances, Bristol could sustain a mid-table Prem side, easily. I've had just as many calls from United 'fans' asking for tickets as I have (Bristol) City fans, and that's just plain wrong.

    Well yes, it is.

If Bristol folk supported their local teams the grounds would be full all the time and there would be no spare tickets for opposition fans anyway.

I have only just noticed the irony there! Music can span cities though that's fine ;)
