So Carroll has had a few games to impress but what is clear is the boy lacks confidence. I think he could be an amazing player, I just think he made the move at the wrong time in his career. Anyway I think it would do him great to be loaned out, perhaps to some one like Blackburn or Bolton. Bolton lack a lot of goals and I think Owen Coyle could really help him in his development, just look at Sturridge last year. He's been a year and I still think he can do a job for us, I just think he needs to be somewhere other than Liverpool at the moment, somewhere where it's not expected that they win every game. Obviously he'll never be worth £35m, but the talent he had when he was at Newcastle can't suddenly just dissapear, he still has a good career ahead of him if he is willing to work hard for it.
I'm all for loaning out youngsters to help them develop but a £35m striker? Would rather let him go on a free back to the Championship...Blackpool maybe?
