Just got back from Carlisle after seeing a 1-1 draw between the two sides.

I was in the Plymouth end with the ****ing mental green army. They really are a fantastic bunch, I wasn't alone Newcastle fan wise, there were two lads there who done a bike ride to Plymouth last season for the league game for help for heroes, I knew one of them from away games so it was nice to see. We had good banter with the Plymouth fans who were wishing us all well, one was even showing us photos of us on the pitch at Plymouth.

Plymouth deserved the win tonight after some great chances in the first half but it took a late equaliser to rescue a point. The Plymouth players have been without pay for the last month but show great commitment to the club which is just fantastic to see. There were about 150 Plymouth fans there, and in this rough time for them, that is a brilliant turn out.

The Plymouth fans sent their best wishes to NUFC and one said he would love to go to an away game with us when we are down there.

Never been to a game but on holiday last year met a bunch in a pub and they were fantastic only had positive things to say about the toon great bunch of lads and its a shame to see their club in such a state theres other teams that deserve it more (Spuds, ManUre and Liverpool) being an example

That's good of you AB. They were so nice, brilliant backing for their team and were quite pleased that we came to support them. Found myself going mental when they scored like at a Toon game, had a few of them jumping on us. Brilliant stuff.

The BBC reckons the Plymouth goalkeeper was in 'fine form' with 2 vital saves, plus survived a shot cleared off the line (although i am biased to carlisle)

There was one cleared off the line in the first half, but Plymouth dominated the first half, Belasi was all over them, Fallon missed a great chance and they missed a few opportunities to put players in to score, and then Carlisle scored with their first most threatening attack of the game. Second half Plymouth were quieter, but Carlisle didn't create too much, the saves made were not top drawer ones, ones he should have saved.

I am biased towards Plymouth though :)

Looks like the Chelsea game will be the best one for him to attend, let's hope the lads can make it a good one for us all.

They had 4 bidders come in yesterday for them, so hopefully they can get it sorted soon.

Feels weird that I have earned more than a footballer this month!

Looks like we've all earned more than the Plymouth footballers anyway.

With the 10 point deduction, they are now 3 points from safety. Although Dagenham and Redbridge have 3 games in hand, Plymouth are 5 points behind the team above D&R. Here's hoping they do it.

There is one chant I refused to join in with though, Peter Reid's Green and White Army. He has been great for Plymouth but no, never will I sing his name.

I thought what they did for us down at their place last year was absolutely amazing! They are some of the best lads come across on 606! Am gonna email our wendy tomorrow to tell them to get something sorted for them such as a friendly or something. If ever a club deserves saving it's them.
