'They won the ball higher up the field and were on the front foot much earlier when they got possession'

Southampton are playing that way in the last few games very successfully.
It certainly has it's merits but you need players able to execute such cunning plans.
We are BCFC with injuries to key players and I'm happy to leave it to SOD as to which formation he goes with.
To be honest I think you'll beat us whichever system we play, you have better players than us.

    But - Hope springs eternal.

Personally i think it will be a close game up until the last 20 minutes and then we will beat you quite comfortably 2 or 3 nil, the bigger game for us is Tuesday week against Brighton, if we manage 6 points from those two i think we will be home and hosed, however this is the championship we are talking about here, so there may be some Hope for you guys the question is which one will it be...BOB or NO.

Will make a change from the usual 500 they usually turn up with, Club predicting a crowd of over 25k for the match, should be a good atmosphere and will be nice to see a full away following.

Good away following because of the removal of those utterly stupid "bubble match" restrictions.

Hey we might keep winning every game if we were allowed to play 13 against 11. I
Plus if a player was caught between Sean and Richard would that qualify as being between a ROK and a Hard Place?

So since when has Aberdare been such a big metropolis? 30,000 live there? Country boy yourself! Are you a sheep farmer?

    Arrogant and giddy.

For decades Cardiff gates were lower than Bristol City's, and Ashton Gates were humble. For decades what was known as Cardiff City results v BCFC were awful. I have been to Ninnies when Bristol City's away support outnumbered that of Wales capital team.

Then came the bubbles and windowlickers and the fans boycott this side of the bridge. Cardiff fans cowtowed, just like they did with their identity.

More interested in can I get out of the kettle and get a drink. Interested mildly in seeing if the stadium is as **** as a lot of the red-blue - or whatever the **** they are called this week say it is. funny sketch is they dont get the point about the bubble and have to be plastics because it is not that long ago their stadium was empty. 89-90 their fans were invisible. Fire and passion should be five or six up by half time v the Real Red Bristol City because that is what they sold their arse for. club is a basket case look at the seats.

Expect a heavy defeat in Wales, but if Bristol City had to change our kits/history to blue quarters I would expect world domination in a month, and still wouldn't go anymore.

More interested in the Blackpool game, no having to avoid OB to get a sip.

Two choices, Holloway or the re-brand, can't respect either. Inspiration of how not to be.

do u want your spankings now little robin redbreasts ... Pretty sure little BCFC have won far more games v than lost.

Will make a change from the usual 500 they usually turn up with ... Well unlike you know who we don't want our cocks held over that bridge.

I know all clubs have them but these fire and passion lot really come across as some right fannies.

The bubbles were looked upon as muggy and nerdy.

If your age is to be believed you should recall the late seventies, eighties and nineties where Bristol Citys support virtually always outnumbered the Welsh at the corrosponding fixture.

See Wurzel can play this Billy big bollocks game too.

Can remember plenty of those games from the above mentioned era's, we tended to playing the Gasheads more in those days due to us being in the lower leagues most of the time. You/We have always had/has quite a good away support, however things could get pretty hairy over your/our place when both sides met. Coming to the present even when we were still at the dieing embers of Ninian our crowds were/are bigger than yours and now we get almost double what you get, however who knows what the future holds. dont get relegated.
