Not a fan of it myself but it is played too late cos of knobheads non stop talking. Its hardly a rousing song anyway.

Fair play to the club for listening and trying it. It doesn't seem to be working cos no one sings it.

Talking of cringeworthy, what about clapping along to Eye of the Tiger at the start of the second half. The frig was that about? And this Steve Bruce chant needs sorting and all. Either do the blackandamberarmy bit or leave it alone. Chanting his name slowly and clapping along is tacky as ****. We're not Palace.

The Steve Bruce chant is great.

It works, and anyone can do it! Hence how often, and how loud it is.

Not many seem to be joining in with CoL. Is it 3 times now its been played? It isn't working. As for the stand introduction the vast majority join in so they must like it or they'd stay quiet when its done.

That criteria would fit plenty of songs, but it's still embarrassing as ****. We can do way better than that. In fact we've got some brilliant chants and that really isn't one of them.

I think the caravan song needs scrapping as does the introduction to each stand.

    Good afternoon... WEST STAAAANNNDDDDDDD!

    *silence*

Why does any talk about songs come down to having a go at the west stand? They give just as loud a cheer as any other!

If people generally agreed with you then they wouldn't participate. Yet they do. In their thousands.

Making our own words for a song doesn't make it "relevant".

    1) They clearly don't.

    2) I wasn't taking a dig at the West Stand. I couldn't be bothered to type the full thing out and stopped there.

the last really well sung chant i remember was the Brian Horton Black n Amber army one - it used to ring around the ground for minutes not seconds

We have at our disposal one of the best city songs ever, this citys on fire, yet we don't use it. The h u double l c I t y would make a great chant, my lad tried getting it going at Wembley but it didn't catch on. It would also make a hell of a lot better intro than caravan of love
