Replay Sky Sports: missed chances again, defensive error for both goals and Jerome not hitting a barn door from 10 yards. Win away but draw or lose at home doesn’t make sense. We desperately need another striker who can put ball in net as CJ can’t. How can CJ be classed as a strker? Two goals all season - this is not the record of a STRIKER.

Not really as the Premier League clubs who they are all with will never give them any game time! They will all be placed out on loan to Championship and League 1 clubs and then disappear into obscurity.

They beat Barca and Real players who obviously do the same .

Good effort at pissing on the achievement though.

First game I got to see live for ages. It was so disappointing to see us do a Norwich. Was really looking forward to seeing this new side with it's new style. But it was just like the old Norwich.

Gunn mistake for the winner, then did something totally insane which should have led to their 3rd. Hoolahan had the worst game I have seen from him. He looks so slow, his passing was embarrassing, he lost the ball pretty much every time he got it. Jerome did nothing again. Josh seemed off the pace. He should have made changes, these lads were obviously not physically up to it.

First time seeing Stiepermann live. He impressed me. Pinto was brilliant too. Maddison continued to be our only threat. Reed looked solid, Trybull looked solid too. Klose and Zimmerman were ok. They had most of our passes. Side to side, to back, to side, to side, to back, to keeper, to defender, to side,to Keeper, to side, out of play.

    Gunn - 5
    Pinto - 7
    Zimmerman - 6
Klose - 7 (coz of the goal)
    Stiepermann - 7
    Reed - 7
    Trybull - 7
    Hoolahan - 4
    Murphy - 6
    Maddison - 7
    Jerome - 5

It’s sooooooo predictable, every home game is the same! The first 20 minutes we attack like we should BUT don’t score and never look likely to do so after that!
Then it’s sideways, backwards, sideways, back to the keeper!!! No forward momentum,
Murphy needs a ****ing good kick up the arse, he’s doing a Redmond most of the time, he’s NOT a team player!
We play pretty possession football in our own half, but **** our pants when we cross the halfway line, it’s become a chore watching this **** every Week!

I said to my mate at about 50 minutes "If i was a Derby fan, I'd not be worried one bit" it was so obvious what we would do. What was really p*ssing me off, was a defender (often Stiepermann) would run forward, take it past about 2 players. Then turn around and pass it back to a defender. Who are where he started from!! What's the f**king point!? Why bother doing that at all!? Just like every other game I've watched. Jerome drops deep. We have 5 midfielders. Obviously he's needed there too. If he's not deep, he's on the wing! Then moans and throw his arms up that there's none to pass to!! We are playing with one, limited, one skilled striker. He didn't hold the ball, win a header, or get into the box! We basically play with no striker!

I got into a bit of an argument with the bloke next to me! I was just saying to my mate that it’s so boring watching this when he pipes up ‘it’s continental football get used to it!!! I told him don’t want to get used to watching us play **** like this! He then turned to the guy next to him and said that bloke(me) wants the manager sacked! I told him to shut the **** up!!!

I don't understand this slagging off of Josh, he had a very good game at Arsenal, people were worried Toon would be after him, plus he is playing with a broken toe. How about cutting him a bit of slack?

I think he needed a rest. Like a few of them. Didn’t look up for it. That’s more the managers decision than “slagging” off Josh.

Perhaps 3 games in 6 days for several players was just too much? Still they are well paid professionals and should cope? About to be 4 games in what 9 days when we play Wolves at home. Not expecting a win after the past two matches.

I haven't read through all of the comments, but I haven't seen any mention of the fact that for the 2nd game in a row, we were denied a clear penalty (and the Derby keeper being sent off), a shot that came back off the underside of the bar and the shot from Josh which brought an excellent save from Carson. I lost count of the number of blocked shots by the Derby players in the 2nd half. I thought Wes had his worst game for ages
I understand DF wanting to put out a strong team against Arsenal, but I would have preferred that he'd given some of the under 23s a chance, as for the last 15-20 minutes, some of the team looked totally whacked.
I was just typing my reply when you posted your comment canario. Didn't look good for Basil and I just hope he can finally put his injury peoblems behind him over the next International break and I can't wait for AP to return to the fray.

Yea, I said about that earlier. 100% a pen, and most keepers would have gotten a straight red. Was such an insane decision. Typical Norwich luck.

That ref was soft all game. He blew up for shoulder to shoulders brushes (for Derby). He let them time waste from the start of the second half. Literally from kick off they were playing for time and the ref just let them.

But then we didn't help ourselves, because we were so slow in possession, it felt like we were a goal up. No urgency from us either.

When one of their players was injured and the physio came on. As he was ambling off, I got a strange look from another fan when I shouted - "Are you Robbie Savage in disguise??"
Unfortunately, we didn't have the same outcome as back in 2011

Why were they p*ssing around on the pitch for so long? Get him off the field to be treated, and play on. He wasn't even injured. He was sprinting around all over the place minutes later.
