I love the way carrowcanario like this post by the way, despite the fact it has no relation to what I actually posted. Honestly, I do wonder about some of our fans sometimes, I really do
Sorry, am I going mad here? I posted this: To which you said: If that's not an example of moving the goalposts to satisfy your point I don't know what is. And if you don't move the goaslposts and use my original analogy do you really think a team three points off second with seven games to go would have very little chance of ending up second?? Really????? If so then there's no point continuing this discussion as we are never going to agree. And anyway, why is there any negativity or doom-mongering on this thread today? We're winning comfortably, our rivals are dropping points - it's a bloody brilliant day!! Go and fill your glasses up and have a good evening (unless you're one of the Canary Call naysayers that is)
Good results elsewhere if this all stays as it is. Would have preferred a Bournemouth - Boro draw, but otherwise all good, Bournemouth win is ok. They should really win the league from here, unless we absolutely storm it. Well in Binners. Looks like a dreadful match - only two shots on target between them!
Yeap really good result for us today and it looks like other results have gone our way as well. Not too worried about Bournemouth winning as I think the'll finish in the top 2, just a case of who will be the other team for me.
I disagree Rob, for me that was a perfect result earlier today as I want to win the bloody thing and that gives us the best chance now, We can make up three points (four needed if we can't turn the GD around) on Bournemouth from here.they can definitely wobble and lose a couple of games yet. What a day, absolutely bloody brilliant!!!
Other than Bournemouth winning, it's been a decent day, but just look at the top 6 now! Ipswich 6th and only 6 points behind top spot! Mental league this season for sure.
