He singlehandedly bitchslapped Uruguay. Scored, got an assist and was almost unplayable, so they resorted to trying to injure him.
I watched the entire game and this guy was on fire.... Many times he picked up the ball, turned around and just went for it. And usually managed to get by one or two players. Two times he shot from 'nowhere' and they were really close...this guy can shoot! As I mentioned earlier on - his shooting technique reminds me of RVP. He seems to have a bit of everything...speed, work ethic, shooting and confidence.
But just watch Campbell come to Arsenal and his shooting will suddenly dry up, he will get the Arsenal syndrome of looking for the pass instead of shooting.
"By summer 2013, Campbell had been granted work-permit in England but he joined Olympiacos on another one-year loan.[13]" in 32 app he had 8 goals.
Cambell saying he is coming back to arsenal: http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2892/transfer-zone/2014/06/14/4883813/-? ....unless Wenger says something else of course.
Very good. Assisted both of IC's goals. Seems a perfect replacement for Sagna. Fast, strong, skilful. I'd take him to LFC, but hope we get Moreno.
He couldn't defend for toffee, getting assists means nothing if you let the opposition score. I like defenders who can defend.
Wenger confirmed on French TV he'll be with the first team next season. And he confirmed on Twitter he got his work permit
Brilliant news, really looking forward to seeing him at Arsenal finally - and just as he's coming good by the looks of things

He (Campbell) looked awesome but I won't count my chickens yet. I've lost count of the amount of players who looked amazing at big tournaments but couldn't cut it in the EPL. On that note, Gervinho looked brilliant for the Ivory Coast and I, unlike Kyle, was impressed with Aurier. He does look a bit...raw at the moment though which I suppose is to be expected as he's only young. It looks like he has all the physical attributes needed to succeed, he just needs some experience. He'd be a great player to be battling for a starting place in the squad, just would rather it was with someone better than Jenkinson.
Not for me and I would be very annoyed if that were the case. Playing in Greece/Spain/tournaments is very different to the EPL and there's no way he'd slot straight into the side. He certainly looks promising but he hardly set the world alight last season, let alone the previous ones. If we were to spend on a player in that position I'd rather we went big and tried for an Alexis Sanchez type signing. Campbell can then be brought on sensibly.
Exactly. Playing in the EPL is a whole lot different than having the odd good game in a WC or the Greek super league.
If he was an English player that had just scored and assisted against Uruguay and performed like he did, you would be considered a lunatic for writing this.
Not a hostile comment, just an observation. I'm wondering what the guy has to do in order to be good enough in your estimation.
