Big word out that we are looking to re sign Cameron, personally i would welcome him as a new addition, but would the current formation have to change ?

Dont think he would fit as a lone striker playing the miller role so would have to change in that respect ,also would be worried about the ego attached to him when he left us for brum alleged to have been telling a lot of other pros at the club he was a much better player then them and we were just a stepping stone for better things , can't doubt his ability but would his attitude would he upset the team work ethic malky has given us ?

A lst resort as far as I'm concerned. Doesn't strike me as a MM kind of player but I might be wrong.

I think he could play the lone striker role. BUT if we got him im sure Malky would play Miller and Jerome.

I would love Jerome back but see this rumour as a non starter. Havent Stoke paid something like £6m for him a few months back?

I couldnt care less if he had a big ego. Hes turned up to watch us play and hasnt given it the big un when playing against us.

What is good is the leaks have stopped coming out of the club. Loads of guesswork but those who were in the know clearly no longer are. Which shows our club is now being run properly.

Malky is after a striker. Just have a look at good ones who arent playing regularly. Start a rumour - someone will get it right.

Id be happy with a couple of quick wide players.

The point I was trying to make about egos was would he fit in with the team ? We had a team full of egos and individuals last season and fell short with what was possibly one of the strongest teams in the division

Fair point. But I dont think Cameron was that bad. He was a young lad who may or may not have had a high opinion of himself. I never could fault him for effort or commitment.

Lets face it Jay had the biggest ego but id have him back. It was the garbage loan players with egos who were the problem (obviously not Bellamy).

Also its about managing those egos. Jones was hopeless. I would trust Malky to be able to manage whoever he brings in. Plus im sure the team spirit this season is miles better than last. This group would sort out 1 player getting too big for his boots. Just stick him in a room with Ben Turner.

I dont believe Jerome is a realistic target. If we get him i think hed rip defences apart in this division.

he's ok at championship level, he's proven he's not good enough at premiership level, i'd rather miller if it was between him and jerome, plus jerome has just transferred and will be on a wage that we wont be able to afford, plus stoke paid alot of money for him.

i cant see this happening tbh.

I wonder if Jay is regretting his decision to go to QPR. I'm sure he's on a bigger wage than when he was with us, but picking up on the ego theme, he can't be happy being sat on his arse every game. He's back to being a bit part player. The only time he hasn't been that was when he was with us.

Jay or Jerome would be good additions. Back to goal, Jay would bring the likes of Mason, Cowie, Conway, Whitts, Gunner and Kiss into the game and create a lot of scoring chances for them. Jerome running the channels would suit our style. He'd give more pace, but maybe not the nous of Miller.

I'd agree with the above comments that the squad could deal with one ego, they'd sort it out themselves.

MM can obviously motivate and inspire players. It would be interesting to see how he'd deal with the more 'neady' players. Can he do the 'arm around the shoulder' or 'pandering to the ego' management style? Maybe he can, or maybe he just avoids that type of player.

3 days and we may see who he's been targetting. I hope business is done early in the month as opposed to later.
