http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2408530/Cardiff-make-bid-sign-Wigan-winger-Callum-McManaman.html Be a fantastic signing for you if it comes off!
Can deals be agreed between clubs and then registered with the FA up until this evening, but then still being subject to medicals and other matters being carried out after 11pm tonight?
It would be great if it happens and certainly add more pace and bite to us going forward. The lad has a bit of a temper so that would need managing. Practice matches could be interesting with Bellers, Pitbull and McManaman pitching up against each other. However, as Ninian says there will be a lot of interest in this lad and he will go to the highest bidder. I see Spurs may be going for Ince for £10m and then loaning him back to Blackpool for the season.
I'd take McManaman, but is this what we really needed? http://www1.skysports.com/football/...een-given-permission-to-speak-to-cardiff-city
He's better than Bellamy imo and should be good for 10-15 PL goals if he starts most/all our games. I was watching his Wbrom goals on youtube last night, I think 2mill could be a bargain. I know he's 32 but we can worry about that in 2 years and if he's helped us stay in the PL for 2 seasons it'll be worth every penny.
Talk is he was sold out my his agent last year, made him look a fool. Said to be well liked by his team mates.
Think Redknapp has a lot to answer for re the deadline day debacle last season - would an experienced professional like Odemwingie really drive all the way to Loftus Road without reason? Think Redknapp got cold feet and left him out to dry! Think he will do well for you, is a very decent player.
Ok, will reserve my judgement on Odemwingie, read the full story in the Echo this morning, however i will make up my own mind on him. But i will support him as he is now a CCFC player.
Seems he has a connection with Cardiff already with his father-in-law being a city fan. I'm looking forward to seeing him play, he has a very decent record for finding the net.
