Yep its been re vamped. knocked the houses down and built new .. still the same tenants tho!! no change then!!
Oi! I used to manage that area. Salt of the earth every one of them. I also managed Stonehouse and Efford in my time. Can I tell you that in 30 years spread between the three I never once got threatened by anyone and interviews were easy. No mincing words and say it as it is. Give them a chance and if they blew it then it was hands up and no blame on anyone else. I have people who speak to me in town when I'm out and about even though I've been retired for 4 years and it is always a hello and smile. I was never shown anything other than respect. I always found that if you talked to them and not at and down to them everything was fine. Mind you I grew up on a Council Estate so why should I look down anyway.
