    You know mate, I'm pretty sure we were interested before he went to Everton, we were linked a few times in his Millwall days.

    I know it's only one player, but I seriously doubt the 2 black seasons would have happened with Cahill in the middle of the park.

    He's been a great player, and I'm sure the Everton fans will be sad to see him gone.

    Without question, could be that he's fancied the States, and that there's a good contract on the table.

    Couple of years in New York with Thierry & Marquez, then off back to Oz, you can certainly see the appeal!

    Maryland at the minute i work in Baltimore & Washington mainly but i do get to travel about the US a bit. I have to say my favorite places are Florida & San Francisco i travel there alot if you get the chance to go i recommend both.

    Been to San Fran mate, only for 2 days as part of a road trip, we went from there down to LA & San Diego, across through Phoenix, and onto Vegas, was awesome.

    Been to New York (4 times, 5 come November!), Chicago twice, DC (a bit unnerving..), Boston (fabulous), Philadelphia (patchy, but great people), Detroit (awful, truly awful...), Atlanta (only for 1 day, was a stopover flight) and a fair few smaller places inbetween!

    Bizarrely, never been Tampa or Orlando!
