Yet again Cabaye does a foul that Cattermole would have definitely been sent off for if he committeed the foul. The he is cleverer thing does not wash with me, it was from behind and right in front of referee at Swansea. Cattermole would have been offin seconds. Cabaye is actually a decent player but he is simply the dirtiest player in the league. Can I also use this opportunity to wish that all my friendsa on here have a splendid day.

He's not banned because he's allowed to drivel on; the test is not quality of posts, but whether or not they are deliberately offensive.

This is the case for everyone here.

How is this post drivel Sid? Do you think Cabaye is ok to go around getting away with what he does?

I said you're allowed to drivel on in response to Tash's post, not that this post was drivel. See your other posts for many, many, examples which are...

He is a quality player but really dirty. He often hides this aspect of his game quite well. Tiote is probably worse though. Clatter mole is hot headed and sometimes reckless but not as sly as Cabaye, if you will pardon the rhyme.

    Cabaye, dirty
    Suarez, dives
    Bale, dives

We could make a list here of the worst but best team in the prem.

Over the course of this season, I've not seen Cabaye do any really bad challenges.

However, the main reason Clattermole has a worse rep is because he's not a great player, and he lets himself get out of control time and time again, and makes blatantly reckless challenges.

Cabaye is a fantastic player and gets himself in the headlines for the right reasons, and over the last season, at least, he's been keeping out of trouble.

He's still an aggressive bloke that makes the odd risky challenge, but they're usually not that big of a deal.

I guess with Cabaye, his bad tackles are laced with malice and are premeditated. Clattermole just goes in all guns blazing and gets it wrong. Clattermole and Tiote, for what it is worth and ignoring general bias are similar. Cabaye gets away with it though unlike those two because of his "beautiful style". Sad but true folks (well not sad for me)

I disagree comparing Tiote and Cattermole. Cattermole has intentionally tried to harm others many times. Tiote ends up getting stupid bookings, mainly for tripping other players over during mistimed tackles.

Cabaye is definitely worse than Tiote is, in terms of being dirty.

Tiote has a brain, he just doesn't use it at times, and gets unnecessary bookings. Clattermole crashes into players when he gets pissed off, and Cabaye has done similar things in his career also.

Cabaye is more similar to Clatts than Tiote is.

I should expand on this point. When I say they are similar, they both remind me of caged animals who has just been released.

They shouldn't get pilloried for this! Not long ago, our players were gang raping in hotels, dogging in car parks and bashing Pakistani's.

    Credit where credit's due. <ok>

You've got to be prepared to put it about to play CM effectively. It's the most competitive area on the pitch.

When the other things you do put the rough stuff in to the shadows then you are a player. Until then you are a clogger.
