Not looking for a reaction or such but making a quick point before i quit here. These forums have gone to utter crap. I used to enjoy reading them going back to BBC 606...these use to be informative, humorous and down to earth and gave great insight in to what was going on at the club right down to street level but now they have gone to ****e. I was never a big poster here but have been around longer than most and enjoyed many many threads but now i find myself wafting through so much crap its just not worth my time. I am not saying its all bad but in all fairness its getting worse and worse the whole time and i can't be bothered sifting through so much garbage. To those posters that have made me laugh, think or ponder i say Thank You !!! To you all i say good luck and God Bless ...... U RRRRs.
Bye mate I think the main problem is the fact that the team have not won a game, so not many of us have anything worthwhile to say about them When we win a couple of games if you make an effort to come back on you will find a lot more decent posts again
The internet is the playground of children, played in by men....where people who are normally quite amicable, become complete tosspots and keyboard warriors. This has been proven over and over, whether it be on Twitter, Online games or forums of all kinds......if you cant take it then I suggest moving away from such social media as i've found it everywhere. Its just human beings by nature....they are cnuts and selfish......although that isnt true for all...there are some true gems but they are few and far between on the internet. Peach out brother
Unfortunately I am starting to agree with your point of view Tipp...bit fed up with all the agressive posts and childish mentality, but as the Franckster says, this is the internet and these things will always happen. I have never been a big poster either and have also been kicking around for some time...I enjoy many a post/thread and on occassions still do, so am doing my best to ignore the rubbish and focus on the good stuff ;o) It can be tiresome and to be honest I am less inclined to post these days, but it is still a pretty damn good forum...take a break, re-visit and hopefully you will see it in a slightly different light...hope we see you back here soon!
I am a very occasional poster but long time follower. Don't see a problem. Read the posts or threads if interested leave the rest.
its the same after every game the worlords come out whether we win a game or not, but would be nice to win a game that will be monday!! i can't believe what i read on here sometimes after matches.
I thought last night's post-match reaction and 'analysis' was very mild and almost muted in comparison to other titanic tirades for previous matches. Bad results bring out the anguish in people, good results the euphoria, that's the way it works. Those who complain about the poor standard of other people's contributions, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Maybe if we can avoid having so many (read: any) threads all about other members - that might focus us back towards football?
I almost left this board after having a look through it last night after getting back from the game. I've certainly left the QPR Fans Facebook group as it's woeful there and will never again sign up for that. Every time QPR lose disappointingly I am going to avoid this message board like the plague as the responses here are often ridiculous.
Personally I think this forum is great, mainly because itâs so active compared to other forums. There are so many different posters and threads on here every single day, and so many different opinions expressed. However, I guess that the sheer popularity of this board can be a double-edged sword though (no pun intended Swords!). The pure volume of posts inevitably meaning more repetition and less quality. Recent results has also meant more bile, frustration and in fighting. My only real gripe with this board is that it talks about itself too much and too often, when Iâd rather it talked a bit more about all things QPR.
all forums are the same to be honest but this one has less trolls than the others, just don't bother with the muppets.
This is a great read and makes me passionate as the fickles do tease me so . Some come and go that's life. I am looking forward to getting back and starting some threads like why do the French do things better than us What is the average UK teenagers place in this world? Goodbye to leavers and welcome to all newcomers . This forum is by far better than any back page of any sports paper
Sorry you're off, Tipperary, You sure you're not just fed up with reading about QPR underperforming? (I am) It'll change. Come back if the grass isn't any greener...
Too many on here think that their opinion is the only one to be taken seriously. Tipperary, thought of vanishing myself of late to be honest.
