Sod's player, say good bye to Jet what a player but he will no doubt want out now. Best player we have had in a long while,a joy to watch.
He would have been gone in January anyway, if not then, DEFINITELY the summer. He will DEFINITELY be gone in January if Di Canio is brought in, no way that man could tolerate JET haha
JET is a real enigma. Good close control, good finishing. Can't head it properly. Poor work rate and appears to drift off into his own little world at times. At times looks like the kid playing in the road or park "It's my ball and I'm not passing it to anyone else". In many ways too good for League One but on the other hand totally unsuited to it's hustle, bustle and work rate style of play. So it will depend on who comes in whether he wants to stay, and whether the new manager wants him.
JET has a contract with Bristol City FC not SoD - of course he may not like the new manager, but any player with a brain would see how things went first
JET is a great player, but I follow the guy on Twitter and the way he goes on you'd think he was a starter for Barcelona. Being able to knock in a few goals at a relegation-level League 1 club doesn't make you a great player. We vastly overhype any Bristol City player that does well. Maynard was worth £5m a few years ago. A few months ago anything less than £3m for Adomah would be criminal. Now, if you ask most people on here they'd rate JET at over a million. If JET wants to leave, then so be it. We won't get a huge amount for him, especially considering he was part of a swap deal. I reckon he'll stay because this is the first time he's been at a club that values him, and the first time he's actually been any good. That being said, if we sell him then it'll most definitely be because the club doesn't have the money to sustain itself.
Well put, plus I add that if he was that much in demand other clubs would off been interested in the summer. We do over hype players here he's failed at Arsenal (not a problem as most do) Cardiff didn't want to take up the option and Ipswich couldn't wait to get him off their books. He plays 18 games and he's Messi with clubs clambering to get him. He might be the best player here and I always want him in the first team but I also look to the skies and want him subbed the minute he looks uninterested. As Ciderhead says sometimes he's like that kid in the park. But most importantly if he or anyone wants to leave my/our club I don't want them, I'm only interested in players who put on the red shirt because they want to.
New manager = new vibe, and a new approach. That means probably new players too, starting in January (which is why they turfed out SOD now I presume)
