Absolutly buzzing after todays result. Actually cant wait for Burnley next weekend. Clear of 2nd place by a point in top 6 by 6 points. After todays result has anybody changed their prediction about our league position come the end of the season! I no i have I generally believe a top 2 position is possible. COYR

Totally agree with you supersaint, as long as we keep this momentum and winning mentality going we cannot fail to be in the top 2. COYR !!!!

I'm not getting carried away but we dealt with birmingham far better than I thought we would. Excellent performance.

We were out of this world in the first half and having got our lead we proceeded to shut Birmingham out of the game. They looked as if they weren't up for it at all.

In the second half Birmingham gave a much better show and following their goal I was anxious that they were getting too much possession. But Nigel knew what to do. He swapped it around a little and hey presto Chaplow scores a sweet goal to restore the 3 goal lead.

My man of the match today just has to be Connolly although every single one of our players deserves credit for what was a great game.

As for Birmingham I am sure their fans have the right to be disgruntled at the way the fixtures have worked out for them following their Europa Cup ties.

All we need now is for Pompey to start winning and for Brighton to push us hard and the South Coast will be a great place to be a football fan.
