Not my idea... But one I'm fully in favour of. Can we have a "****" button to go next to the "like" button? Have a list below the post of everyone that thought the poster was a ****. Maybe send a notification like "@brb thinks you're a ****" to your activity log? Who do we need to petition to make this happen?
Nice idea but not needed in reality. Most posters are decent guys and are up for the banter like in the old ‘Berks thread’. Others like think they own the place but just call them a ****, it’s so much easier and less convoluted.
I was thinking more fun for banter than really being offensive. (I also don't seriously expect such a button to be implemented... But it would be funny if it were).
The site used to run on a rep system. Both positive and minus. So had a like and dislike button. Green bars for positive rep, red for negative...pretty much like a ****'o'metre. Am I the only **** who remembers this?
That was probably before I joined... Or perhaps when I only used to occasionally pop by. I was on old 606 and briefly tried ja606 before taking a break and ultimately ended up joining here . For a year or so I actually spent more time wasting time of a fish forum than a football one.

we almost never talked about fish... I mean, yeah there were sections for that but there was a group of us on the general chat talking about whatever and occasionally doing Mafia
