nikki bulls fantastic penalty save sparked off some of the best scenes i have witnessed at adams park for years, for a moment it took me back to that magnificent match at selhurst park in the fa cup against wimbledon the sheer ecstacy of the players and fans alike was a joy to behold and whatever happens from here on in that one moment of this season will live long in my memory
That was without doubt my moment of the season. The noise and celebrations were fantastic and it sparked the crowd into life for the rest of the game. It just shows that we are capable of getting a brilliant atmosphere at Adams Park, the Frank Adams was the noisiest it's been for a long time.
Yesterday at Adams Park saw the most extraordinary atmosphere within the stadium for years. The first 40 minutes saw it slightly nervous, the Wycombe goal brought it to a simmer and then the award of Crewe's penalty took it to boiling point. Just when I was thinking the atmosphere couldn't improve any more Nikki Bull made the place explode!! Our penalty a minute later, which like the Crewe one was NEVER a spot kick completed the most astonishing five minutes. It actually reminded me of the Carling Cup match at Adams Park against Doncaster during our run to the semi final. On that day Batista was the hero but yesterday Bull was the man!!
these moments in football are special and us fans remember thing like these for years to come but for lower league fans they come along every 10 or twenty years and thats what makes it so special ,you just cant buy moments like these ,even in the premiership.bully is now a wanderers legend
