According to Blunderside - it's all over and done with and City don't have to pay a penny.

If this is true, any chance of a goalscoring loan please Mr Banker?

David Burns just reported it on tigersplayer live.. "club sources very happy and there won't be a payout, might take time before any official statement - as usual"

This is brilliant news which hopefully will see £2.5 million more available for team strengthening in the summer.
It said on Humberside that City will probably only have their legal fees to pay - shame we didn't have a counter-claim against the waster to pay that as well.

Exactly what the Pikey waster deserved.

We might have started a trend here.

With £2.5M released on the balance sheet maybe we can afford to loan two quality strikers???? Mr Barmby? And despite what you stubbornly think we DO need some better players!

The little scrote will end his playing days at (no offence) Dagenham and Redbridge...or some such godforsaken place.

Currently suspended with us, for being in a night club in Newcastle with Michael Chopra. When he joined us at the back end of last season his play was inspired, when this season started he was played in a more withdrawn role, and we never saw the best of him. To me he does not posess a good enough all round game for this division, can pick out good passes, and has good vision, but has no pace, and a lack of stamina, and fails to pick up opposition midfield runners. For me though he does not come over as a very professional player, seems to have a very casual attitude. Seems to think that he is the next Norman Wisdom, many people reported seeing him driving to one home game, hit some heavy traffic, under a mile from the ground, abandoned his car, and ran in, this is amateurish.

I wonder if they'll try and use the case with us as an example of precedent. If I were them I'd list it even if I expected the courts to dismiss it just to wind him up. ;)

That'll be a bit hard seeing as it never went to court!

As i said last week, this was settled out of court 4 weeks ago now.

There was a net pay / gross pay misunderstanding by our cockney rebel! It was very favourable for our beloved club.

Not having heard details I was assuming from it saying we didn't have to pay a penny that it'd been decided he didn't have a case and it had been dismissed. That would have allowed Ipswich to use it as a precedent if he went to take action against them.
