Just released on BBC website Norwich have sacked Hughton after their poor run of form leaves them in a relegation dogfight! Crazy timing in my opinion but hey ho they can keep their mits off our Mick!
It's a pointless exercise with a few games left surely. Although it was probably inevitable come the end of season. Oh well. I'm sure much rejoicing going on with kio, dave,Thai etc on the budgie board.
Done the marriage. Never again. Birthdays I like to forget now and I'm not Jewish so sadly no bookings coming from this direction.
A BIG mistake, IMHO. 3 months ago, with time left to sort out the season would have been understandable. But a handful of unwinnable games from the end of the season? Why?! Hughton may not have done well in the Premiership, but look at the fantastic job he did at Newcastle, winning the Championship in their first season down. What Norwich need now is a manager with the proven ability to drag a team straight back up from the Championship in their inevitable first season down. Now who has the credentials for that job? Seriously, it's like slashing your tyres because you have a puncture!
Absurd decision! Crazy merry-go-round of managers, who would want to be one right now, apart from Martinez!
To right Hawky. Listening to talk Sport on my way to work today, Brazil & Warnock went through the possible teams competing for 6th spot, bizarrely they said ITFC were well out of it, they gave Bournemouth more chance at getting the last spot than us.! I will be phoning in when we clinch 6th in a month’s time to remind Mr Brazil of his lack of faith...
Big Al, they are hoping that they can get a result on saturday at Fulham using the sacking as a lift for the players! Did not mention the other 4 games as I think they can se Null Points.......
This reminds me of when Wolves sacked our Mick and quickly dropped down through the leagues to League 1. I really hope the same scenario doesnt happen for them! I want them to drop into League 2!
Good evening JWM my ol' mucker, just a couple of points; No.1 - I think I would go to Switzerland on a one way ticket if we ever tried to nick that dinosaur McCarthy off you No.2 - Lightening ain't gonna strike twice and 'Our Neeyul' will get the three points we need to survive because I genuinely believe that is all we need The 'Old Farm Derby' is a few years away yet and I don't mean it's because you'll be passing us as we fall I want them to drop into League 2! 3 games for Naaaaaaarwich to play, two points ahead.... with Man Utd away ( bound to win due to new manager and would anyway ) Chelsea away ( Mourinho has JUST lost his first league game EVER at home to Sunderland ) ,,,,, they need to get 3 points off Arsenal because they will be getting ZERO until then. Ooooooooooo to be a canary !
