I like him as a person but I'd really like him to start to own up for some things, he must understand that there was justified reasons for the fans temporary unrest. I hate it when he acts likes he's done nothing wrong. I am NOT saying he should leave, if we get some good results in our matches coming up we'll have a good season, but really he needs to learn from mistakes and acting like nothing was wrong will not help
What are these things that he's done wrong? Yes, like we all do, he's made mistakes but what do you expect him to do. Get down on bended knees & plead forgiveness. Like us all, I believe he's trying his best & that is to shape a good team. The criticism he's had, so far, this season has been totally unjustified. We are like most of the sides in the Premier league (the top 3 or 4 apart). Most sides will have their poor run of games. That's the way it goes. It does not, necessarily, mean the manager is doing a bad job. Sometimes the luck just goes against you. Anyway, long may this form continue.
He's made several mistakes: 1. Playing NO strikers to a championship team (which he seemingly justified by saying barca did it ) 2. Being far too negative on several occasions (attacking like we did today shows the rewards of going for the game) 3. Playing players out of position. Anyway i dont want to get angry at Bruce again lol, I just think the reactions he gets after losses will be better if admits to making mistakes instead of always blaming luck. I dont expect him to beg. Any calls for him to be sacked after 5 games is premature, any calls for him to be sacked after a year of poor performances is justified. I HOPE he can take us forward as he is nice and very good with getting good deals
You're right Vaughny. I'm not going to get too excited after one good result. Long may it continue, mind. x
He`s got himself a reprieve today. I`ll not judge him on one result, if he continues to win, he`ll ave my support but I won`t accept any more defeats from him.
