I love my football and my team but in terms of what is important to me in terms of contentment and mental stress it's way down the list

It doesn’t take long for my stress levels to drop after a match as they never rise these days

On this subject. In the good old days of late 60s early 70s how many times did football fans 'cry' when their team was defeated. I know nowadays there is an overexposure of football and in big games social media often zoom in on tearful fans but I honestly think this is just a modern day phenonemum???. Even when I was a young un, OK I used to swear (still do) and gesticulate but I have never been reduced to tears after a poor SAFC result. I soon get over it and never dwell to much on bad results etc etc

    Amazing!
A thread about things cringeworthy is merged with a thread about things annoying despite the key words having nothing in common with each other ( if you left school after 13 I suppose )
2 threads about football being bad for your health are allowed to continue .
