Broadfoot is a cumbersome type of player, he looks like he has no ability and awkward at every level, yet he managed to get a move to Rangers from St Mirren and into the Scotland set up. He isn't selected for the Rangers first team anymore, perhaps due to lack of ability and off the field issues, which I understand have now been resolved. He is a player who will run around for 90 minutes without doing much and will put his head to balls that some others wouldn't, but he lacks skill, speed, agility and understanding of the game. I would not wish to see him in a Leeds shirt and would be very surprised if this story had any real merit. I can however see another Championship club like Bristol City being interested, purely because McInnes appears to be trying to build a little Scotland empire down there and he knows Broadfoot.
