You dont have to believe it you can make your own history up

'Improvised incendiary devices of this type were used in warfare for the first time in the Spanish Civil War between July 1936 and April 1939, before they became known as "Molotov cocktails". '

This is why I always question things. You really think that the "petrol bomb" was first used less than a hundred years ago? If so, then fair play, as you can believe what you want and make your own history up.

Using your link: "Nevertheless, the petrol bomb as we know it today – a glass bottle or jar, filled with a simple incendiary mixture, and fixed with a basic fuse or wick to facilitate ignition upon breakage – is commonly believed to have originated during the Spanish Civil War (1936–39), where it was used by both nationalists and republicans as an anti-tank weapon."
The earlier uses of fire as a weapon has been around a long time but rarely in the form of bottles and they were only widely used in the .... Spanish Civil War.

Descriptions of these phantom arsonists typically spoke of bottles of petrol and burning rags being thrown through cellar windows. For the most part, the fires had actually been started by the soldiers of the commune, using more traditional methods of arson.

Of course they did, to say that they were first used in the 1930s is utter stupidity. On another note, I saw earlier that Ukrainian women were making ones and they were grating polystyrene into them, what is that about?

The government should take Chelsea over and sell it to the highest bidder.
If Abramovich complains the government should tell him to have a word with Putin.

Surely the reason he handed it over was so that couldn't happen? Or at least he believes it can't happen.

I think you are getting confused between fire from petrol in bottles and other methods. Or the very rare use of fire from petrol in bottles.
I dont think there's every been anything traced back to the very first use. It's more from when something is used regularly.

    Or his hope.
Why can't it still happen? If a couple were going through a divorce could one spouse get out of paying the other spouse by transferring their wealth to a "foundation" or trust?

I am not getting confused about anything. Anyway, I can agree with you that they were first used regularly in the Spanish Civil War, in fact, I can agree they were first reported to be used regularly then. That is not me "making up my own history" that is just me being sensible.

Like I stated already, that is what he believes. If he didn't believe that would happen then why would he bother?
