Equals crazed Leftie brought up on failed council estate rants about the Labour Party being unelectable because they are over-run by the far Left when their most electorally successful leader ever says that they need to move back towards the centre of politics.

Crazed Leftie does not seem to understand that Labour’s banker votes in Jockshire have gone to the useless SNP, so the only way that Labour can now win an election is to attract moderate voters from “middle England”. They want the status quo, not some bunch of Woke Marxists that will nationalise everything, rewrite history and go berserk with the Magic Money Tree.

Owen Jones could have written this piece. A Remainer that sees the United States of France as the best chance for integrated Communism with the “working class” in control. It never occurs to these morons that the “working class” have their position in society as a result of progressive aspiration. Just how “working class” is their ideological leader Comrade Corbyn? Middle class upbringing, failed at good schools, does not live on a council estate, healthy bank balance: a proper Socialist hypocrite. “Power to the people”.

 

Tragically, more than 25 people (men, women and children) lost their lives in the English Channel the other day; a horrible situation for their families and friends from which only a few criminals profited. No matter your political affiliation, you do not want to see repeats irrespective of where the people originated. Yet this has become a matter of party politics on both sides of the stretch of water that separates Britain from France.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson sent a letter to the French President Emmanuel Macron but he took the uncommon step of publishing this correspondence, perhaps hoping to jolt the French into action.

Taking umbrage at the PM’s action, the French uninvited the British Home Secretary from a conference being convened to examine measures that could be taken to try and stop the conveyor belt of migrants crossing France to attempt the crossing to Britain. There is no logic to holding a conference where one of the affected parties has been banished for what appears to be purely domestic political reasons: the French President is seeking re-election and bashing the British is popular politics.

When the British Home Secretary appeared before Parliament, the Shadow Home Secretary – one Nick Thomas-Symonds – berated her claiming that the letter showed that the PM was “out of control”. The paradox here is that when Thomas-Symonds was asked what he objected to about the letter, he raised no actual objections. So if he agrees with the letter then surely he is “out of control” as well? While people are drowning in one of the world’s busiest shipping lanes, the official Opposition are busy trying to score points with the three word slogan du jour.

An Independent MP – one Jeremy Corbyn – lambasted the Home Secretary for having borders at all, forcing these desperate people to attempt hazardous journeys to get here. There must be lots of easily available accommodation, health and education infrastructure in his Islington constituency where these people could reside.

Whilst a few politicians probably see some short term points to be scored and an equally small number favour totally open borders, they do not represent the views of the non-partisan vast majority: people are going to keep dying while all the politicians of all political persuasions do nothing about the actual problem but play politics.
