MK Dons need him to warm up their bench... Very quiet on here today, I guess the extra holiday and watching the queen of England and her posse was more interesting Phillip was over doing it again last night and now he can't stop the ****s, poor old man! Have a little bit of info on a former player. Our former centre back Mr O'Dea may be joining Huddersfield once the Euro's are over. It appears Grayson is keen to have him and O'Dea is now totally free of all contracts, thus can join anyone for free. Pity the club that ends up with this pile of ****, but Grayson was always good at spotting decent defenders... Midges are fierce just now in central Scotland, you can't go out in your garden for anymore than 5 minutes before their eating away at you. I hate cities and wouldn't want to live in one ever again, but this rural life has it downside. Why isn't Paddy Kenny our player yet? I thought he was joining last month, last week, yesterday, next Friday etc..football rumours are bollox really. Is Bates dead yet. Any one got a reliable sauce that can confirm that the great one has shifted from this world into the hell he belongs in?
Evening Boab , Midges are a right pain and the reason I don't go north of Glasgow in the summer. Remember they trace you using the CO2 in your breath, I would just keep using lemon to keep them away. Kenny would seem a sure fire bet to follow Neil Warnock, but 500k seems a lot for someone of his age. I have heard no news on Bates but the serious illness rumours are growing daily, everyone in Leeds appears to have heard he is ill (but as with all things Ken Bates no one is sure its true).
Midges are actually now indoors. I can't remember them being this bad and never in the house. You open your front door and a swarm of them fly in and go straight on to the ceiling, you then spend time trying to kill the wee bastards whilst they eat you. Another wee blighter is the spiders, the buggers are coming into the house all the time and scaring the **** out of my kids, we even found one in the bed the other night. And don't start me on ants.....
Bet your all be on it up north though if he does sell up and **** off please log in to view this image Or dies!
Don't have any problem with the midges in Inverness right now, the central belt must be doing something wrong.
Fecking Labour joined the Tories to form a local council, disgraceful and no we are suffering the consequences.
that's unbelievable, never thought in my lifetime that blue & yellow would go together but Labour & Tories are natural enemies so **** knows what's happened there!

To answer your points one by one, Mr Boab: A. Alan Smith. Failed Judas bastard. B. The BBC coverage of the flotilla **** was absolutely shocking. Dumbed down commentary, some Geordie ****er (as if I don't experience enough of them!) presenting with some brainless blonde whore, vacuous interviews with past-it celebrities and all manner of cringeworthy patriotic cliches as 'the British spirit showed' in the fact they still held the event despite rain. Amazing, right. **** the Queen, and **** her little boat parade. C. O'Dea will be good with a cool head of experience next to him. He has a passionate and aggressive way about him which will suit Huddersfield and Grayson next season. He scores about a goal every five games too, very good from set pieces. I didn't want him to stay with us in the end, but don't knock him under the right circumstances. D. Got at least a thousand midges pelting my face as I rode down the Leeds-Liverpool today. Bastardos. E. The goalkeeping situation doesn't look good. I think we will get Kenny, but now the Lancashire inbreds of Burnley and Bolton are sniffing around Lonergan and it gives him a chance to move closer to Manchester (where, remember, his sick daughter gets her treatment), I can see him going and us getting a similar-quality replacement on higher wages. Let's hope Kenny is as good as he was when he was Player of the Season for QPR in their promotion run. But something about our recent keepers' predictable deteriorations and the quality of the backline in front of him tells me he won't be that good. F. Let's ****ing hope so.
I've said this for years, there is no such thing as socialism in the UK anymore, Blair and Brown killed it off with their own form of "middle class professional person socialism". The Labour party in Scotland are a joke, hence they don't govern a country they should easily govern year in year out. It's not about politics anymore it's about "me, me, me" and it's getting worse. The Tories have no chance of a vote in Scotland, they need the proportional representation that forms government in Scotland, just to get a tiny wee voice in the Borders. Both Labour and the Tories have got into bed together all over Scotland, simply to stop the SNP from taking over the councils as well as the government, it still didn't stop the SNP having the most elected councillors and the most votes at the recent council elections. I'd be ashamed to be a Labour supporter now, it's a disgrace of a politicial party and they will suffer even more come the next Scottish Election as their vote will be hit as hard as the Liberal Nobodies was in the council elections, due to their action of working with the Tories.
Very true boab, the Tories do **** all north of the border so in terms of Westminster seats Scotland gaining full independence would suit them the most as they'd have the most to gain with **** all to lose and Labour the most to lose with 30/40 seats to lose although that's an entirely different debate. Scottish politics has always been and will always be a different kettle of fish too Wales for example
If Scotland does become independent, then it's hard to see Labour ever getting back into power in the rest of the UK. Scotland is usually where they get the most votes and there would not be enough people in the north of England to get them back in. This of course is a good thing and one more reason for Scotland to vote YES.
Exactly which is what they deserve and would be a great thing after nearly bankrupting Britain again as they always do and nor would Wales give them enough votes either so give Scotland the vote I say! If it ever came about the Scottish government would have to deal with all issues that the British government currently does on its behalf like all the meetings and flying around the world/Europe representing them on the international stage but its not as if that's lost on the SNP and they will have plenty of time to prepare for it. Despite what Cameron says you'd think that the best chance of independence for the Scots would be under the current British government as there's no way any future Labour government god helps us would want it to happen! Cameron has said he doesn't want to see Britain broken up but its certainly in the Tories interest to **** Labour over for future British general elections. So your SNP then boab if you don't mind me asking? I'm Tory myself which you've probably pretty much worked out.
Good point about diluting the labour vote. Heaven help us if they ever get into power again. Blair and Brown so inflated government departments with unnecessary jobs, all done to gain votes. No economic plan, released the banks to do as they please and created an economy stimulated by credit. When it all finally collapsed as it had to, they had ****ed off into the sunset with their financial wealth secured. So much for caring about the people who voted for them. I really have no idea how the current government can cope with the massive economic mess the chuckle brothers left them with, but at least they are trying. Just as bad as that knob Bush, left USA in massive crap and now Fox News (the Republican channel) actually blames everything on Obama, refusing to acknowledge Bush did anything wrong. Scotland on their own? No problem with that as long as they don't do a Greece.
Exactly Billy as the break up of the union will be a price worth paying if Labour never get they're hands on the keys to No.10 ever again.
Anyone see the Big Questions on BBC on Sunday morning from Glasgow? The SNP don't seem to have cohesion on policies yet, especially where the Queen is concerned. Really interested in their welfare proposals though. They want to give better and higher welfare payments in Scotland rather than being equal with the rest of the UK. This is another reason to vote YES, cos instead of all the immigrants hitting England's shores for the benefits, they'll just keep on travelling and take root in Scotland. You'll no' complain about the midgees agin, ah tell ya. You may get quite a few middle Englanders choosing to take up residence north o' the border too, with free prescriptions, free education, and whatever else etc etc etc. This may bring in industry and reverse the trend of a brain drain from Scotland, which would be a really good thing. Was chatting with my gf yesterday about individual independence and growing up, and how the costs of going to University have led oit a lot of kids staying at home and going to their local Uni. This has led to a generation of weak minded, weak-willed, mummy's-kids who don't have the get up and go nor the independence to actually live on their own and look after themselves. If we want to improve England, some of the policies need ot be reversed. Education, education, education was a Blair mantra, and on that one he was absolutely right. Then he started the screw up of it.
