Hulse didn't get any joy all day from the ref, but can't complain about a draw.

He was more than shocking...... lets say it straight.... he was a ****ing CHEAT along with the red/yellow flag linesman in front of East Stand!!!! The lino in front of West was just incompetent

Time and time again Hulse and Wilson were chopped down by Brighton players only for the ref to stroke his two imaginary dogs!!!!!! yet a Brighton player falls to the floor and it's a freekick.... how many times did Brighton players handball in the second half with nothing given?

At least our players didn't resort to throwing a paddy like the Brighton player did in the first half when he sat on the ground for about five minutes while the game went on around him.... absolute joker :(

Hamer 6 (one good save does not make a good performance!)
    Wilson 8
Morrison 7 (other than two big mistakes he was solid)
    Dervitte 8
    Solly 8
Prichard 7 (an extra point for his goal)
    Frimpong 6
Stephens 7 (three very poor passes that almost cost us more goals)
    Jackson 6
    Hulse 7
Haynes 7 (more of a goal threat than Hulse with his pace)

    Kermit 6 (not very effective)
Kerkar 5 (just did not get into the game)

The Good Doctor 7 (wanted as much pace on the pitch to start with plus JJ and a target man.... his substitutions were very poor.... when will he learn that Pritchard can not play right midfield?)

    PS....
I blame Hamers positioning for both goals... neither of which had any pace on them when they went past him :(

The second goal took a deflection off the wall granted but not a big deflection and still going in the same direction as the ball was going prior to hitting the wall.... plus the deflection took all the speed off the ball.... yet Hamer was going in the opposite direction??? Why?

Just back. Really good game. Brighton were good to watch and fans made a great noise. Had a good chat to a couple of them in the queue for the chippy. They appreciated the significance off the date to us and played their part. Always impressed by them when they visit the valley. Thought the first half was as well as we have played this season. Played to feet and some lovely football. Not so good second half but Brighton were Very strong. Thought Mackail-Haircut was terrific. Only seen him on tv and wondered what the fuss was about but he was quick and ha a great touch. Draw a good and fair result. All four goals were avoidable. Agree with most player marks posted so far save for Hamer who I thought was excellent and Pritchard who, despite a great opening 15 mins and a goal (which he nearly managed to muck up) was really frustrating. Great graft to get the ball and pester the opposition but his use of the ball in possession was truly awful. Suspect few will agree with me. Ref was lamentably bad for both sides i thought. Utter dimmock. Thought Wilson had a great game. All things considered I'm happy with that. Need to find somewhere else to park. Roads crap tonight.

Back from the match, we had the edge in the first half & feel we were unlucky to go in even. Bad Morrison mistake for their equaliser. Second half Brighton were the better team, thought Wilson was excellent & has shown what we have been missing. Personally I thought Stephens had a good game, as did Hamer. Very impressed with Brighton both on & off the pitch, fans were great, & Mackail-Haircut was amazing. This was an excellent advertisement for Championship football & I am sure the 30 second slot we normally get on the football league show will be extended to a good 45 seconds. Final thought goes to the ref, I would never go as far as to call an official a cheat, but he was truly abysmal & seemed to be watching a different match to what was actually being played, or maybe he just did not understand the rules. Either way I would not want to see him refereeing one of our matches again.

I happily retract the comment about Pritchard nearly mucking up his goal now that I've seen it on telly. Looked from my seat as though he miskicked a first attempt. In fact he did well to dig it out of his own feet. Apology happily offered. He still frustrates me though!

    Hamer - 6
    Solly - 8
    Morro - 6
    Dervite - 8 - MOM
    Wilson - 7
    Jackson - 6
    Stephens - 6
    Frimpong - 7
    Pritchard - 7
    Haynes - 6
    Hulse - 6

    Kermit - 6
    Kerkar - 5

There were times when we looked fantastic.

The Jackson/Stephens corner routines were great, but then they just stopped.

There were long periods when we looked devoid of ideas, shape and momentum. For some bizarre reason, Pritchard kept drifting out to the left.

I would have brought BWP on for Hulse with 30 minutes to go. Our lack of pace - and an outlet for balls down the channels - was telling.

Great atmosphere. Lovely to see some blue balloons in with our own.

Best chant of the day: Does your boyfriend know you're here? Does your boyfriend know you're here?

Good point, shame we couldn't hold out for the win but keeps the unbeaten run going. Only saw Hulae a few times before I left the UK but don't think he should be playing 90 mins too regularly. BWP has gone from a key player to a bit part player very quickly.

Followed this on the mobile phone. Nice to see we were 1-0 up at half time, and quite a way into the second half, despite the fact that Brighton clearly had a goal scorere chalked up under their name (BBC clueless as ever!). Without seeing the game, I kept hoping for a late winner, but by the sounds f it, a draw was a fair result, and we seem to have found our feet now. A few glitches to hammer out in the line up, but it looks a s if we're going to get the consolidation season most of us wanted, and next season owards and upwards.

Glad to hear we got a point- though disappointing to concede a goal, as well as another 2 points in the manner we did.

But it's another point in this run.

Absolutely cracking game, despite the best efforts of comfortably the worst set of officials we've seen this season to wreck it.

If it hadn't been for Morro choosing this moment to have his worst game ever for us, I think we'd be looking at a way different result.

My MoM was Dervite - calm, classy and decisive - although Pritchard and Wilson ran him close.

Mackail-Smith was brilliant. His abilities as a top goal scorer are a given, but it's the amount of off-the-ball work he gets through that surprised me, the shielding, the lay-offs, the diagonal runs drawing defenders - wonderful to watch. I don't know what Scottish Addicks on this board think, but it seems to me a clear indication of what a mess Scottish football's in at the top level when he's not a regular in the international side.

The Good Doctor had a 'mare - at some point, his inability to make the right substitution, or indeed any substitution is going to cost us points, and even games. Jacko was visibly knackered after an hour and Hulse shortly afterwards, they'd stopped contributing so why were they still on? Kermorgant still doesn't look fit and looks well heavy, almost back up to his Welling weight. Kerkar played as if he was in a coma. Surely there were better options than these two and sooner as well.

This was my first look at Frimpong. He's not without ability, and brings a certain bite to the midfield but he's the absolute model of a defensive midfielder and brings no creativity or forward momentum to the party as far as I could see. So, who's next?

When I saw Kerkar warming up I was actually hoping he would take one of our midfielders off(not Stephens who I thought had a good game, probably Frimpong) , put Kerkar at LB put Solly at RB, Wilson RM, and Haynes back as a striker, 3 players back in their best positions. I was also hoping BWP would get a run-out at some point, his short appearance against Millwall looked good, the Kermit/Hulse partnership just doesn't work. You had to feel a bit sorry for Hulse , he got a terrible deal from the ref. and Kermit just doesn't seem to get into the game these days. And I'll say it again, it's about time Harriott got a place at least on the bench. You never know, he might even solve our LM problem.

yeah, as good as wilson is when he's playing at right back, when are we going to get some luck with our left backs? when evina, seabourne or wiggins come back we'll be more balanced.

i thought brighton were one of the best teams i've seen this year. their wingers owned us. a big plus is that we got a point off them. we're consistantly now picking up points regardless of who we're playing.

looking forward to january and to seeing how we strengthen! we could really make a late push this year.

and i thought hamer was class yesterday. stopping some shots when the odds were against him and coming and claiming some crosses. i like that he gets upset at goals going in, if he didnt care then thats not what we'd want
