Moan when we lose and then moan when we win!

There certainly is no pleasing some people! <doh>

It was a classic smash and grab away performance. Feck me Man Utd under Fergie were doing it for years!

Have to agree with you Warky - cant really understand some of the comments after this important see-this-exciting-season-to-the death. I formone am greatly enjoying my football once again! Not the fluent attacking flair of the much lamented 1970's, but we are up there and grinding out results. An Away win is just that!

Which pub you heading for Sat..I am driving up for a cracker.<cheers>

It does seem that way a lot of the time. To be fair we scored two so we didn't really need to create anything else...

Difference is Fergie always tried to dominate teams and went out there to to try and impose his game on teams, now you're not going to play well all the time so when they didn't they did grind results out, it's the sign of a good team, the problem I have is that grinding out a result is our style of play not the thing we fall back on if we're not playing well. It was a great result and superb second goal but it annoys me how we go out to spoil the opposition, it's not how footy should be played.

After the exitement of watching attacking football and good football under Burley, Royle and Jim which got the pulse racing this doesn't excite me at all. It makes my heart sink that we're a spoiling team I think particularly as I know Mick is capable of getting his teams to be more progressive.

This is the best Ipswich team I've ever seen out of possession of the ball problem is on the ball we look pretty poor no real passing and movement, we try to coach this into our youth teams so why do we do it different when it comes to the first team??

Another game, and AGAIN SOMEHOW our season is alive.

COME ON, get in, superb 3 points.

I'm in the Warky camp, lets enjoy this for heavens sake reading the negativity on this board really concerns me at times!

Win a game, and it's as if we didn't. Lose a game, ' rar rar rar style of play we're jizz ' etc etc......

Derby tonight will tell us more, but it's a great three points at Derby. What an assist for the second goal by Jonny boy!

I think it's more frustration than being overly negative, I just think Mick is more capable than he shows and yes I just don't like his style of play, I think reading what he's said about Chambers proves he's a more defensive (not negative) style manager who prefers defenders and solidarity over flair and creativity.

Yeah was a great assist by Williams, who I thought was pretty poor up until that point. A superb header aswell by Murphy, as a striker in his mould he should have been doing that more throughout his career, really attacking the ball in the box, think in the past he's been at liberty to not use his physicality as a strength

To be fair to Murphy how often do we get someone behind the opposition defence to put in that type of cross?

Very true that, our only crosses going into the box are usually from Cresswell
