It's not the FA it's the local police.

Much better idea to move it to a Friday night, busiest night for the police in town centres and then add however many Leeds United fans. Brilliant idea, well thought out!!

Gives some of us more chance of an away ticket this year. Can't see too many coming all the way down for God's own to London & beyond for a Friday night.

This could backfire on the police if they expected trouble they may get it now expect quite a few fans will stay over saturday night.

Maybe the Police were looking to put off as many Leeds fans as possible from Travelling all the way down on a Friday night. What they wont have considered is the fact that there are enough Leeds fans in the south that will now have a better chance of getting a ticket and will attend . Either way a stupid move on the part of the police.

Cant understand why the police have done it we have been to brighton for 3pm ko unless because we will get more tickets they are worried how many will attend. They should know if we had games starting at 11pm on the moon some fans would be there. It will be interesting to see what time they make West Ham and Millwall ko there.

probably leave those games be. What you have to understand is the police outside of Yorkshire are for the most part, incompetant when it comes to football.

No, the report says it's at the request of the local constabulary.

Maybe Sky could pick it up, eh?

I e mailed Brighton poice they say they did NOT make the request it was made by University next to the ground as that weekend is the start of admissions for the new year and there will be thousands of students and families in that area.Which would lead to congestion.Another poor excuse.
