Careful John, you're a baby boomer like Corbyn and you know what that means.

Funny how suggested incidents of 20 years ago are now being headlined, if what took place was that severe why was it not reported to the police then, it seems everything they can throw at Boris is being dug up and used in an attempt to darken his character, it stinks, it's crooked and it won't work because the idiots he is challenging have history twice as bad or are just plain thick.

Yep. Why didn't it come out at the same time when he was apparently a "woman beater" after the incident with his girlfriend leading up to his PM election? Funny isn't it! So many people are trying their best to stop Boris right now. Wonder why that is? Hmm.

Even the EU are saying a deal could be done by 17th October. That deal will then be put to parliament. So parliament have been proved wrong. They have been proved wrong that keeping no deal on the table was a very good effective negotiation tool and proved wrong that Boris could get the job done. So why are parliament still talking about putting a no confidence motion through the house of commons? Why risk the new deal that Boris will bring back? Why not wait until they see the deal and then decide then?

I know why! Maybe, just maybe, parliament doesn't want Brexit. I know what you are all saying... No **** Sherlock!! I know I know. Obvious isn't it. We are pretty close to leaving with a deal. So stories are now being put out to discredit Boris, in hope enough people on Boris side votes against his deal and hope the public votes against him in the GE.

Dirty politics being played. Labour know they cant win in a fair fight. So now they are bribing the public. Feeding them **** stories about Boris, saying they will scrap universal credit - the welfare system that has been controversial. They won't do ****.

It's going to be war in the GE.

VICTORIA DERBYSHIRE … had the Plaid Cymru chappie on this morning... he came up all sorts of s*** about Boris, she let him dig a lovely deep hole before spinning the chamber, pulling the hammer back … BANG... [ basically she said, my interpretation] why are lambasting and endeavouring to discredit Boris "WHEN X YEARS AGO YOU WERE HUNG DRAWN AND QUARTERED BY THE COURTS" for something similar, and just if not worse than than …….

The oppos are running around like headless chickens at the mo! has Boris got a get out of jail card or 2? if they vote no confidence and a GE how many will lose their seats? don't know the exact number but labour stands to lose quite a lot of seats if the voters go for leave as opposed to labour .. Brexit party territory! Swinesto may have a number of extra seats at the mo but if they stand for L [un] D and not Conservative in their old seat how many will win! and the remains of the new party whatever she calls herself now how many will get back in? as independants or [ new party remnants title, maybe changed for the GE?]
SCOTLAND they seem cocksure of getting a massive majority of Scots seats! Will the fight up there be indepence driven... they will have to fund a border!

The remainers are running scared and throwing everything at Boris , they are claiming it’s aggressive language which is causing vitriol amongst the general public. They are missing the point , it’s ignoring a democratic vote that’s causing the problem.

I know it’s a mantra but the only way forward is for the politicians to come through and deliver on the vote.

It’s actually gone beyond which side of the debate you agree with it’s now about whether or not we want democracy in this country or not.

The judges getting involved didn’t help, they can argue all they like about it not being a political point they were ruling on , they stepped into the political arena . They could well find once this has settled down questions are asked about their role and whether they should be accountable.

It’s dangerous times we live in, I hope more than anything what ever happens with Brexit as a country we return to proper democracy and learn to accept defeat when an election goes against us.

This was always going to happen near the end of these negotiations, it was inevitable once it became apparent Parliament was going to try to thwart the election result, another reason why it’s better to deal with it now rather than wait even longer because the longer we delay the worse it’s going to be when we finally deal with it .

Imagine what it will be like if the Un Liberal Un Democrats get their way and avoid Brexit altogether by revoking article 50, don’t for a minute think it will resolve the issue it will make it ten times worse. Democracy was hard fought for it won’t be given up easily imo.

Can someone explain to me why WE (as opposed to the EU) care so much about the Irish border?
Let’s just not have one - and the EU can erect one there and police it if they want........
It may not be much of a smuggling issue - depending on what economic deal we do with the EU.

The EU want to protect their borders, they will not agree a deal without something in place to stop the flow of goods and services into a non EU country. In every other instance this means there is a hard border.
The history of Ireland, they say, makes a hard border problematic to say the least.

As you rightly point out it’s a red herring, we won’t erect a border we’ll use technology etc , if they want one cel la vie , bottom line they don’t want us to leave and if we do they’ll use every trick to stop us having a good deal.

Can someone explain why we need to stockpile medicines ?

Is the EU trying to blockade the UK aiming at the ill and old of the UK ?
Is that honestly their negotiating position.

Apart from some adjustments in the importation procedures from mainland Europe, it's all part of Project Fear - bloody laughable.

I think we need another war with some of the European countries.
Or would that get blocked by all of the beaurocrats (sp?) as well ?

Ah - you mean sold for a quick profit by some profiteer... who is now enjoying a comfortable retirement with ‘Fred the Shred’ and the bosses of Thomas Cook as neighbours.

    Sorry, couldn’t resist that!

So the EU own ICI then.....
