I love how this is presented as May's deal. Get it right, this is what the EU are willing to offer us.

And what Mrs May has agreed she is willing to accept. it is the EU's deal as much as it is hers, certainly, but no more than it is hers.

Exactly, except that half (maybe more) of his mates have realised the situation and saying they don't want to leave if they are going to end up outside a kebab shop. Your mate is drunkenly shouting "**** that, we said we'd leave" and two others have kicked off saying "we've always hated this place".

Would you still discount it if it was what most people want to do now, regardless of what they thought 3 years ago ?

    Yes.

Otherwise do we overturn every decision a year or so later if it slightly changes?

If so can we go back in time to 2010 and stop the Tory/Lib Dems coalition a few months laters?

Can anyone tell me why planes will fall out the skies come a no-deal brexit?
Loads of little deals sounds better off for us than sanctioning an EU buttfucking.

The problem, as I understand it, is that the game theory is now against us. The natural move for any two states is to screw each other over, and it takes diplomacy and time to overcome that.

The default state (WTO rules) is by definition painfully bad - that’s why we have blocs like NAFTA/EU and trade agreements in general.

If we announce loudly to the world that we need to sign deals all at once then it’s rather like putting an ad on gumtree saying that you need to sell your car in a hurry because the bailiffs are coming round. Nobody is going to offer you market price - they’ll look for a steep discount.

We’re not totally powerless, but, contrary to some of the promises made during the Leave campaign, we’re not so all-powerful and rich that we can overcome that massive natural disadvantage.

It's a bit like Dad's Army, private frazer with his 'we' re all going to die', and private jones with his exact opposite, 'don't panic captain mainwaring'. People have been pushing doom and gloom for centuries, a couple of examples...in the 1700s it was the Malthusian Trap, where population growth would outstrip food supplies. And then remember the millennium bug? Neither happened.

I disagree. It takes two to tango and Mrs May has her part. However this divorce has been driven from day 1 by the EU. It’s 27 vs 1 and I’m sure that strength in numbers gives them confidence they’ll be more capable than we are of coping with the fallout. We may not like it but they always held the whip hand.

The vote has been and gone. We have moved on to the next stage. Well we’ve stumbled onto the next stage with our cock hanging out clasping a bottle of buckfast.

The remoaners ask this same loaded question every time. They know full well why. Because nobody can say what the majority think now. So let’s have another vote and drag this out a bit more.

There has still yet to be a sound cast iron justification for another vote. So for me, even as a remainer, option 4 should not be considered. If I felt there was a large obvious swell of desire for a revote, or if the people I knew who voted to leave were all saying they now wanted to stay, I could probably understand it more. However I could not say that either is the case.

So you have no interest in implementing the will of the people.

I expect that is common among Brexit supporters

The petition is currently at 4.4 million. Some might call that large and obvious, or the million (maybe only several hundred thousand) in London this afternoon.

From the Office for National Statistics.

“The total number of UK Parliamentary electors in December 2017 was 46,148,000”

Nowhere near 50% never mind higher than.

Somewhat ironic the call for a “People’s Vote” from a group of people unable to accept the People’s Vote.

The best thing about these online petitions is being able to vote more than once.
One of the lads at work says he signed the petition Five times yesterday.
No effort either, just used his different email accounts he already has.
How many others like that or setting up new accounts, or the Bots, I wonder.
I could sign it, at least six times, if I was that way inclined.

The will of the people? This was decided almost 3 years ago now and the will of the people voted to leave.

I expect that when things don't go their way some remainers think that by having a hissy fit then everyone should stop what they are doing and give in to such childish tantrums.

If we had a proper Brexit - yes in the short term there will be a recession. Will it be worse than the banking sector-caused recession? No it won't.

I believe that every nation should be governed by their own people and free to do what that nation sees best to do. If we then strike deals regarding freedom of movement and trade with the rest of the world inclusive of the EU then fantastic.

Brexit aside - we have far bigger worries to consider. The biggest ones being our ever increasing benefits bill and our ever increasing prisons bill. Education has goen down the swanny. The NHS is on her knees and begging. The police and fire services are being crippled. Our voted for politicians live in a different world to 90% of the British population and can no longer identify with whom they are representing. The rich are getting richer (because of the EU), the poor are getting poorer (because of our Government) and people like me, well nothing changes (Because of me).

A monumental overhaul of the entire system needs to be made. Get rid of these politicans. Have a more proportionate representation of the people. I am not affliated to any party and invariably vote for The Green Party as sadly I'm in Romford and Andrew Rossindale will always get in but The Tories have some good policies; Labour have some good policies; The Green Party has some good policies; the Lib Dems have some good parties and dare I say it even the SNP have some good policies - and for once I would like to see the best policy for Britian used.

The thing I laugh at is the assertion by remainers that ‘we know more now’.

We don’t and won’t until we take the plunge. The rest is speculation.

Also... with EVERY general election we are offered all sorts by the politicians and end up getting **** all. Should we have a people’s vote for another general election every time things turn out different? After all.. two years after a general election we know more....

We all know where this is going.... one way or another there will be no Brexit.

Part of me honestly thinks that this is the PM’s ultimate endgame. And that a lot of the events we’ve seen were set up a long time ago...

**** Europe and **** the Mp’s. At the next election the main two parties are gonnna get ****ed more than Freddie Krueger’s mother...

Australia manage perfectly well to negotiate deals with the EU every year to the tune of $100bn with no deal in place.
