Had a text from a mate last night saying the same, with QPR picking up a huge percent of his wages. I rate Gradel higher than SWP to be honest, but that being said we havent ever seen SWP at this level. Doesnt he play in the same position as Diouf or is it the other wing? I'd take him right now as beggars cant be choosers & you wont get a much better loan signing this season
If true, the bet loan signing we may ever get. He has pace to burn & scores the odd decent goal as well. Fingers crossed
More like Ian Wright!! About the right age for you lot!! Don't believe all you read on twitter Elland - next you'll be posting that the takeover has happened
Had him on loan 2 seasons ago - the bloke is a mountain - never lost a header which is handy as their are a few "hoof ball" teams in the league - eh Leeds
didnt he use you as a stepping stone last time? Now the greedy gits in decline he comes hobbling back to Millwall to provide some much needed cover and your ok with that? Agree he is a big fella but his better days are long gone to be honest mate
At 31 maybe his best days(at the highest level) are behind ****tu, but there is no reason why he can not be more than useful in the Championship for at least a couple more seasons. Now tell me the benefits of having a lightweight, ageing, 3 foot midget on the wing in the Championship?
Seriously ! i have to explain why it would be a great signing ! he will rip the championship up ok so he last played for England in 2010, he scores goals, goes past players for fun, and your comparing ****tu to SWP, your either a bad wum or know **** all about football
good luck to him and to you lot this season Your not serious about SWP though are you? I would think he would be a class above in the championship. Just look at his previous clubs & fees compared to ****tu's. Lets see now, SWP or ****tu? No brainer really is it? Come on man be honest Millwall would take SWP in a heart beat But as TC said, I will believe it when he is signed, it sounds too good to be true at the moment!
Can't see it happening or even remotely possible however - I would LOVE it if I am wrong and it does come off.
****tu and SWP can't be compared as they are 2 different type of players, ****tu is a brick ****house(pun intended) and controls the central defence in a no nonsence styley and SWP is a quick flair playing winger. On his day SWP is a terrific player, however how many 'days' has he had over the last few seasons?, when he is not injured he is a bit-part player. If he does go to Leeds i predict he'll have a couple of decent games, one brilliant game, quite a few games where he goes missing and then an injury will keep him out for a month or so and then the pattern to repeat over and over again.
didnt he start 30 plus prem games last year? I know you cant compare the style of player, but surely anyone would prefer signing SWP than signing ****tu if you get my point? Personally dont think we will land him anyway
