I believe Rovers have signed Daganham and Redbridge striker Bradley Goldberg on a months loan. More to follow when the deal is officially announced.
Rovers today signed Dagenham & Redbridge striker Bradley Goldberg in a one month loan deal. The 21 year old former Charlton player signed for the Daggers in July 2013 from Hastings United where he starred in their 2012/3 FA Cup run when he scored against Middlesborough in the third round. After scoring for the Daggers in pre-season games he was immediately put on a season long loan to Conference South side Bromley for experience and scored 23 goals in 44 appearances. In addition, he won the Conference South Player of the Year Award. He made his league debut for the Daggers in a 3–0 home defeat to at the hands of Morecambe in August of this year when going on as a second half substitute. He has since made another four substitute appearances in the league. Manager Darrell Clarke was delighted to capture the youngster, saying; “Bradley did very well last season when he was out on loan at Bromley but hasn’t been able to cement a regular place in the Dagenham & Redbridge side this season. We lost Jamie White earlier this week and Brad is a player I know a great deal about. I think our style of play will suit him as he likes to play off the shoulder of a target man and he will go straight into the squad for our game at Chester on Saturday.” Chairman Nick Higgs said; “I am pleased to welcome Bradley to the club and wish him every success during his time with us. He is a player that Darrell knows well and is an exciting prospect who scored a great many goals when out on loan at Bromley last season.”

and some havent really been positive about this signing either. i understand their frustrations. they want a striker who is well named like easter for example. because they know jack **** about this player, they automatically think its a crap signing without giving him a chance. he hasnt been given a chance in the league above us at dagenham. 6 or 7 appearances getting the odd few minutes here and there from the bench with them and thats it. however the league below us he scored for fun having a better average than 1 goal every 2 games and won player of the year. no one knows how good he will be apart from those who know of him and seen what potential he will have. if you havent seen him to see his potential, then you have to wait and see what he can do before judging him. but some feel the need to write him off before he has even had a training session FFS. yes i would prefer someone tried and tested but we have had tried and tested down recent seasons and how did that work out? an untried and unknown player is good in a way because the opposition wont know much about him either. could be a good surprise.
we already have a chant for him!! goldberg, goldberg, goldberg, goldberg....
