Haha! GH10, how can u want rid of Friedal? He's been a fantastic player for us and rescued us when we needed some stability at the back. I know u love your Hugo, but even at 41 he's a top reserve keeper! Be careful what u wish for!
Easy, because he's cramping Hugo's style. That's not Brad's fault, that's AVB. By not installing Lloris immediately as No.1 AVB has created all sorts of problems. I am careful in what I wish for, and what I wish for is Brad out of the club, not because I dislike Brad, as I've said on so many occasions I think he's a great bloke and he used to be a top keeper, but he isn't anymore. He's been far from fantastic this season, he's slow off the line, poor at crosses, not a great shot stopper, poor distribution. As I've said time and again, in every major department of goalkeeping Lloris is better than him. I'm hoping Levy is behind this move to transfer Brad and he's making it clear to AVB in no uncertain terms that what he's done in benching our major signing of the summer is bang out of order. As for wanting me to go to Blackburn, I'll be staying and supporting my club as I have been doing for well over 50 years. And IF Brad goes, I'll give him a farewell cheer, and then hope that AVB that we can start to turns things around again. I fear it's already too late, and we're going to be seeing another trophyless and no CL season, and AVB maybe going in the summer. Here's hoping my fears are unjustified and from today on, we can start to be a more united club again. I doubt it though.
I hope Brad stays. I want Hugo number 1 as much as anybody but Friedel is still a great keeper and should Lloris get injured or perform below par for a long period, Brad is a great player to have to step in. I'd only let Brad go Blackburn if we got Robbo back in return. Would be great to have him back some time, arguably one of the most loved keepers at WHL, the reception he got whenever he returned was bigger and better than any other previous player I've seen.
If AVB hadn't messed up the whole situation so comprehensively, I'd be wanting Brad to stay as back up, but the keeper situation now seems very tense and fragile, and Lloris needs to be installed clearly as No. 1. The damage may already be done unfortunately though. I guess we'll know so much more by Sunday 6 pm. Also maybe Brad doesn't want to be just back up?
Thought you might like that one Roo Isn't Hugo Boss some kind of fashion brand, I know very little of these matters.
