The winner has been ordered to fight Rigondeaux before July but there is a rematch clause in the contract so there might be some negotiating to be done or we could end up with the winner been stripped of a title. Rigondeaux fights Jazza Dickens in a few weeks over in the uk. Credit to Dickens for taking the fight but this will be as one sided as they come. As for Nonito Donaire, he's one of my all time favourite fighters but he just isn't as good as he once was and i actually think both Frampton and Quigg would have a great chance of beating him

Looks like pro boxers might well be eligible for the Rio games. AIBA, the world governing body said that the last hurdles stopping participation should be pushed aside before the games, allowing countries to take pros into the games if they see fit.

Looks like the IBF are out to keep the ball rolling in it's Heavyweight class. They've mandated a fight between the France based 5 rated, Carlos Takam and Kiwi rated 6 Joe Parker. The winner to fight the victor of the championship bout between Charles Martin and Anthony Joshua. Kiwis are hoping for a May date in New Zealand.

Carl Frampton still holding the market over Quigg. Bookies seem to like him.

Quigg looks pretty good but haven't seen Frampton yet. So the bookies think Quigg will be stamped on.

Frampton is an you face fighter who likes to put sting into his punches Ron. I like the way he fights, but Quigg has reach over him, so I just lean his way. But would love to see Frampton win.

Frampton points I'd say. And hope! There'll be plenty of Frampton support in Manchester boys, don't be worrying about that!

Real 50/50 fight for me. Tempted to get a PPV for the first time since Haye V Klitschko despite the undercard looking slightly underwhelming.

I was hoping to see Framptons fights but we are having problems fitting a new dish. Had a fantastic reception after about 2 mins but then lost it completely when tightening things up. The satellite finder is showing a strong signal but now, for some reason, there is no signal strength through the (same) Sky box. Bloody weird. I'll have to look on Youtube. Frampton will need to be able to cope with Quigg's body punches if he's to stay in there.

Managed to watch one fight (2015) and, based on that, I'll go Quigg by stoppage

Who won the face off at the presser? I thought Frampton started well, but then Quigg held his stare better towards the end. Maybe. Then the pushing and shoving came and I wasn't too sure of was intimidating whom? Words were spoken, and Frampton was instigating the physical stuff. Was it it because he was out psyched and needed to prove himself, or was he that cock sure? Quigg at the end didn't looked all that comfortable, but who knows. What do you guys think of what happened? This is a really interesting fight.

The odds are too short to have a bet. If I was betting it would be 7/4 for Frampton to be knocked down (bet Victor)

Forgetting the fighters for a second I'd dearly love that smug prick Eddie Hearn to get sparked the **** out <laugh>

I'll admit he doesn't come across very well but I've met him a couple of times and had a couple of good long conversations with him and he really is a nice bloke. I think he gets a bit too involved with his fighters and gets carried away sometimes and ends up taking some of their spotlight for himself. I like what he does and has done for boxing though and he does really know his stuff

Like the froch fight when he was in the ring before the ref waived it off. I think he's just passionate about his fighters myself

By the sound of things, Frampton is going to have a lot of away support. Weights had the pair split by an ounce. They are contracted to take the ring no more than 10 pounds above either weigh in totals, or above the 122 pound limit. I don't know which. I'd say the max would probably be 132 pounds.

    Quigg. 121 pounds 6 ounces.
    Frampton. 121 pounds 7 ounces.

The more I watch of the build up to tonight and the more I hear Frampton speak I am really hoping now that Quigg takes the little pricks head off
