No they haven't. He'll never make it. What they've got is an expensive dud stuck on their books for 5 years.

I'm the one that's banged on about this? Really?

You and Chazz mention it as much as the wind blows.

    He didn't stay.
His agent played a part in that (as did the club).
    He moved on.
    We all should too.

I thought we'd done this one to death, Tymon that is. This thread should stick to Bowen.

Simple question.....would Tymon be at stoke now if he didn't have the agent doing what he did, or would he be still here learning his trade at first team level and growing and developing as a player???

Take away the name allam out the equation and the behind the scenes negotiating was (bar the withdrawal, which was a stupid thing to do) pretty standard for an unproven youth/reserve player

He was left with the option of a good deal at Stoke, or a **** one with us. Ehab even tried to force him to play another year on scholarship terms ffs.

He should be grateful then. According to some anyone who doesn't sign a 25 year contract for 50 quid a week and an orange at half time is a traitor ****.

We shouldn't even pay players. They should pay us for the privilege of paying at such a well run club as ours.

He was a first team player in the Premier League and he was on a scholarship contract. That must be unprecedented. Most clubs have kids who never make an appearance but are still on pro deals. The fact Ehab then tried to extend that scholarship in an attempt to force him to stay is just laughable. You can't just take the Allams out of the equation because if anyone else was running the club he'd have been on pro terms long before he made a Premier League appearance. Probably around the time he started at the Emirates at the age of 16, didn't look out of place and helped us keep a clean sheet.

We should have released him then and there then. Sack him before he gets on the team coach...

Now that's one of our own. That lad knows a cliche too.

Saturday’s 6-1 home win over Birmingham City was the perfect end to a memorable week for man of the moment Jarrod Bowen.

The 20-year-old bagged his seventh goal of the season against the Blues to retain his place as the Championship’s joint leading goalscorer alongside Bristol City’s Bobby Reid - which came just just three days after the in-form youngster penned a new and improved deal to commit his future to the Club until the summer of 2020.

“Obviously I was over the moon to get on the scoresheet and help the team pick up what was three vital points on Saturday, especially after the week I’ve had,” said Bowen.

“I want to score as many goals as I possibly can, so to get two in a week - and sign a new contract with the Club - it was a pretty decent seven days for me personally.

“The team is more important though and I was just happy to see us get back to winning ways. Saturday was all about bouncing back after our previous results and performances and I don’t think anyone can complain at beating Birmingham in the manner we did.

“It was a great team performance from the lads and it was great to pick up all three points for the manager as well.”

The Tigers produced what was arguably their best and most consistent performance of the season to date to sign off in style ahead of the international break - also ending a five-game winless run in the process - much to the delight of Bowen.

“We’ve played well in patches or for 45-minute periods in games this season, but 45 minutes isn’t enough - football is a 90-minute game,” he added.

“We were on the front foot right from the off on Saturday and got our rewards with a couple of early goals. From that point on, we never looked back.

“We dominated the entire game, apart from a ten-minute period at the start of the second half, and were really clinical in front of goal to score three goals in each half.

“It’s not often you see 6-1 results in football, but this one was very much well deserved in my opinion after the way we played from start to finish.”
