We will get battered the way our defence is performing. I see us losing this by 3 goals.

Can't see anything but a heavy defeat here - unless we employ 'Brazilian' tactics of all-out attack.
If we try and contain them we will be battered - our defence is flaky to say the least (apart from Bentley) - but with Weimann on fire we might get a goal or 2 if we push forward.

So if we go to sell our best players (Scott, Semenyo Massengo), what do you think he will get to make us a decent side and defend against a side like Bournemouth?
I think you are deluded to think, come the summer he will transform us into a side competing for playoffs along with the progress promised when LJ departed..

Anything can happen tomorrow as we are Bristol City, but my prediction in Wiz's comp was a 4-1 defeat..I fear it could be far worse!!

As said let him have his transfer windows-then we can judge the man. Let's hope we can keep the score respectable tomorrow.

It's a long story... but as my son has 'afro style hair' I take him to Bournemouth for his trims, his barber Deolo cuts the hair for quite a few of the Bournemouth players... so he has been in touch with a chap called Jaidon Anthony and he's put my name down for 2 tickets... my son is so worried I'll start shouting off, I've told him my first thing is to get us moved to the City end.....if that doesn't work... I'll either try to keep quiet or get my iron bar out

    what would you do?

When City got promoted to the first division in ‘76, a group of us went up to Highbury but arrived only a few minutes before kick off.
As a result, we ended up in the middle of the North Bank!!

    We kept very, very quiet!!

Mrs R&W and I went to Deepdale last game of the season in our promotional year under John Ward. All the city allocation was long sold out so we went in with the Preston fans. I said to the Mrs ‘whatever you do keep quiet - dont let them hear you speak’.
Things were going ok at first - Preston scored and we stood up and clapped and tried to look pleased.
Then, disaster - City scored - and my stupid wife jumps up and starts cheering loudly in the middle of the very quiet Tom Finney stand.
After a few unsuccessful attempts to pull her back down and hissing ‘shut up and sit down’, I realised it was no use and we’d been rumbled. I stood up and turned to face the sea of bewildered faces staring at us, shrugged and in my broadest Bristol accent said ‘we’re not really pleased about that - honestly’
Amazingly that broke the ice and instead of being beaten or ejected from the ground the Preston fans around us were quite friendly.
After the game (which we lost 2-1) they wished us well and congratulated us on our promotion. Some of their fans even stayed behind and applauded when Ward and the players were given their promotion winning medals which was a nice touch.
In fact, Ward and the City squad came over to them and acknowledged them.
    All very gentlemanly.

I took my 2 on a Tuesday after school to Bournemouth.
I said we'll go in the main stand as it was hissing down but told them whatever happens we don't jump up if City scored.

    What happened ?
Aggo scored a screamer and all 3 of us went up as 1.
    Massive - you'll be fine.

    interesting
dont really know what to make of that line up .... suppose best he' can muster! Should they score first [ first 15 mins or less ] could be a landslide..
hopefully the ref will not oversee a comedy of errors!
