An expected defeat but not by too huge a margin - slightly better perhaps?

It is a sad reflection on our present state that we are pleased with a narrow defeat. The first few minutes syndrome seems to have done for us again. I dont think Parry, Purdie or Hall could complain about being dropped after Hereford but Summerfield was the only player who emerged from that game with any credit and he also got dropped! I await GT's explanation for this decision with interest.

Parry had a poor game against Hereford but overhaul he started the season as our best player by a mile, and yes a strange decision on dropping Summerfield, but again woeful, 38 shots at our goal compered with 11 that we produced, 10 corners to our 3 plus they had 66% of the game...tells a horrible tail, we have dropped into the 'out bin' with a potential 6 pointer against the Layton Orient(away)...Lose to them then our money maker against Crewe, well, wont be such of a money maker,Rowland will have to invest or the crowd(income) is going to just dribble away...Looks too that Helan,Proctor and Bennett are going to make very little impact.
