The vote of confidence has been given, and in 2 games we will be looking for a new manager. I'd imagine after today they will be drawing up a shortlist of names!

Sorry RR. 8 of those players are SOD's You're being to biased towards the coach. IMO they are all as poor as each other at the moment. SOD's days are now numbered I fear.

My brother went today, phoned me and said we were dire, Jet, the worst performance in a city shirt, Reid, Bryan & Shorey ok, the rest not good enough, we are going down, local derby's next season, if the gas don't go down.

How can you blame the players, the buck stops with the manager, end of, sorry RR i don't think your managers up to it mate, you use the same excuse every time, his record is worse than any of the last four managers, even you must agree with that.

Some said at the beginning of this season that Jet was one of our best players, I thought, well if he is, then we are in dire trouble.
IMO, the strategy (i.e. the academy) of the club which JL talks about in our position is all wrong. This only works if we are doing OK and we can feed the 1st team.

 

Sorry do not get this he has done the business at all his previous clubs,yet at Bristol City Fc It is not happening.

How can you blame the manager if the players A- do not understand SoDs methods and B - as a fan that was there said the players were ****.

Something at this club is wrong SOD is a highly thought of manager.

As Jon has said this lot are one of the highest paid teams in the division,i ask the question are they earning their wages ?

 

Been saying that for weeks, but try telling WURZEL and Cliftonville that... Unfortunately you can't have a bright future with the Academy until things are at least half decent in the first 11. People seem to forget the West Brom, Birmingham, Aston Villa, Cardiff, Swansea, Southampton all have very good Youth Projects, and they aren't too far for eager parents to send drive their kids too.

The lower we go, the smaller our catchment area becomes in terms of appeal to parents with talented kids.

 

Take your minds back a few years when the messiah of the week, named Steve Coppell, exited stage left in confusing and alarming haste to pastures new.

Take your minds back again and tell me honestly, if you can, that since that time the board and management have made all the right moves and decisions to enhance the reputation and stability of BCFC. Looking more like they have done everything else but improve our overall well-being doesn't it, or am I wrong? Help me here and tell me why, yet again, we lost the points in the last few minutes and seem to get worse with each game?

The board of directors are to blame for all of this, ever since the departure of Steve Coppell. Can anyone disagree with that?

 

I now see it as excuses to keep SOD not reasons to keep him. I wasn't on the fence after the JPT game. I am now and I can tell you im leaning one way and it isn't in favour of SOD! 20 games without a league win is terrible. Who in their right mind would keep a manager with that record. He was sacked from Donnie after getting 1 win in 20 and if he doesn't win Tuesday, Im sorry I want him out. I get the transition and it will take time but it will be 12 games without a win. Not good enough. Sorry SOD, Your days are numbered and you aren't winning many fans over with your boring interviews and crap results!!

 

I was there today like I was at Port Vale, the difference in the performances was staggering, at Vale it gave me the belief that things where turning for our club under SOD but after today the opposite applies, without a doubt we are going down if things continue as it is.
