The right-back has been in talks with the club and is expected to sign a deal in the next 48 hours. Bosingwa is a free agent, having been released by Chelsea when his contract at Stamford Bridge ended earlier this summer. âWeâre having discussions with him and his advisors,â said Hughes. âItâs something weâre keen to do if we can. We think weâre very close but the next few hours will tell us. âHeâs the right quality and has got a lot of football left in him, so weâd be delighted to bring him to the club.â Hughes has also confirmed that former England midfielder Owen Hargreaves is no longer training with the Râs. Hargreaves recently joined Rangers on their pre-season visit to Germany.
