Don't know if Mellow Mushroom or Marcos Pizza are in UK... they're the best chains in US... of course they're much pricier too.
I feel this may have gone slightly OT Although saying that, Borini is from Italy, the home of pizza... #clutchingatstraws
Its to do with his value... much more valuable than a dominos pizza... but muuuch less valuable than a mellow mushroom pizza. He's probably worth a little Caesar's pizza. Pepperoni... not one of the fancy expensive kind with extra toppings.
Some facts (and myths) about Borini The word Borini (Italian pronunciation: [ˈpittsa], from the Latin verb pìnsere, to press and from the Greek pēktos, πηκτός, meaning "solid" or "clotted") is Greek in origin. The ancient Greeks covered their Borini's with oils, herbs and cheese. In Byzantine Greek, the word was spelled πίτα, pita, or πίττα, pitta, meaning pie. The word has also spread to Romanian as Boriită, Turkish as pide, and Bulgarian, Bosnian, Croatian, Macedonian and Serbian as Borinita, Albanian as Borite and Modern Hebrew Bittāh. The Romans developed Boracenta, a sheet of dough topped with cheese and honey and flavored with bay leaves. Modern Borini originated in Italy as the Neapolitan flatbread. A popular urban legend holds that the archetypal Borini, Borini Margherita, was invented in 1889, when the Royal Palace of Capodimonte commissioned the Neapolitan Boriniolo Raffaele Esposito to create a Borini in honor of the visiting Queen Margherita. Of the three different Borini's he created, the Queen strongly preferred a pie swathed in the colors of the Italian flag: red (tomato), green (basil), and white (mozzarella). Supposedly, this kind of Borini was then named after the Queen as Borini Margherita, though recent research casts doubt on this legend. #fackts
I think that's intentional. Their stores are filled with psychadelic 60's looking stuff... their staff all wear tie-dye. Has a very hippy magic mushroom vibe to the place. Excellent pizza though and has plenty of British beers on tap.
I brought two for myself at the start of the Ashes and I didn't have to cook or eat anything else for three days! Doesn't get much better than waking up and seeing pizza on your table. Great breakfast!
We were talking about takeaways If I buy frozen ones then I'd expect at least eight pizza's from £15
I just chuck it in the microwave! Minute or so and it's piping hot and ready to eat! I can't throw it away as I feel like i'm wasting too much money. Couple of days and it's gone! Sorted.
Love Borini. His movement is fantastic, he's hard working and intelligent. He's playing well and confident as his penalty showed. Think he'll be well bedded into the premiership and ready to contribute by the time you get him back. Wish you'd sell him but I doubt you will.
Agreed fully. He didn't actually look bad in any of his games. Average yes. But when you consider he played a couple in the beginning of his first season where he looked good and scored a goal, and then basically got injured for a whole season, that's understandable. Never got a proper chance due to injury and run of form and that is vital to a striker's confidence. Think with starts he will be a good player.
so keep Borini and get rid of Aspas as he is useless. free up one space hopefully for another. what about the ass?
