Are you talking about Bothroyd? Or are you talking of a different player called Boothroyd? Not winding you up, just want to make sure!

If it is free agent Betty, it would seem to me as more of a wind up from us to be honest!

Haha fair enough! Just had to clarify that!

We'd never get him, and I don't really think we'd want him! He's a decent player but is seasoned into Cardiff's style of play and he'd take time to adjust and adapt into our style.

Plus the quotes from him in these 2 articles would make him the laughing stock of Swansea!

"I don't think they are the same side. Where are they in the league? And where are we in the league?" - Jay Bothroyd ahead of the derby, Nov 2009

"I don't want to go to Swansea as I'm happy at Cardiff. Although I'm not from Cardiff, I regard myself as a Cardiff boy now."
"Their chairman has to be more discreet about that sort of thing as I don't want to go to Swansea" - Jay Bothroyd on Jenkins phonecall about a potential transfer to the Swans, 2010

As with any Swans fan there is a natural dislike of anything Blue, but I have to say I really really dont like this guy so seeing him in our kit would be hard, having said that there are some strong rumours that Everton are considering him, if true I for one wont be dissapointed.

he is not premiership material and never want to see him anywhere near our premiership club, try hereford (no offence to hereford) but thats his level the way he has been playing for cardiff lately....

He is not premier class. He is a diving piece of shait and has a serious attitude problem. Would be the worst day in the history if this prat pulled on a Swans shirt!

I thought he had basically signed on the dotted line @ everton. I'd sign him....only as back up for the back up kitman or for a bit of half time premiership entertainment we could dress him up in a mascot that is supposed to be Cyril's nemisis and we get to see new and different ways to humiliate him every home game only way the diving pile of ****e should be anywhere near the premiership

I'd only sign him if he was the prat the players could batter **** out of to vent out their anger!

he is clearly a good player and would do ok in the prem in my opinion without setting it on fire. but just they type of person he is and things he has said in the past means he would never come here

His performance for Cardiff in the away leg at Reading ensured he will never don a Swans shirt. He was atrocious.

Personally I think the guy could cut it out in the premier but i echoe most of what other people have said and that I would not like to see him in a swans shirt at all, our etam is based on mainly team work I think he's more theselfish type!
