Does anyone think this is on the strength of Scotts error or just to give the lad a bit of first team squad experience?

I think he was due back soon anyway, and there was an opportunity to send Gilmartin, so there was just a slight overlap between the Bond coming back and Gilmartin going. I'd just say this is to make sure we have a bit more cover for Scott, and won't change his starting Saturday!

    That's my vote, anyway....

I think dropping Loach after that error would be both harsh and wrong.

I think we're reading too much into this. Bond was due to come back on Sunday, and the goalkeeper he was covering for has returned to full fitness.

Forest Green were probably just as happy to terminate early as we were. Imagine the effect on their number one if he had to play second fiddle to a teenager. And imagine the effect on Bond and potentially the loan relationship if he had stayed for the extra game and was dropped after three wins and a draw.
