37 points will be enough. With our goal difference its like having an extra point. And whilst bolton now have the chance to move out the drop zone with their other game in hand, people need to stop predicting teams like wigan and bolton getting 40 points. We are all in this situation because we lose more than we win. No team at the bottom is going to go on a 3 game winning. So if we get something at chelsea or man city its an added bonus, but as long as we make sure we get 3 points at home to stoke, we'll be fine
Nice dream mate! I've reckoned for a while we'll need 40 to survive, and the results of the last few weeks continue to point that way. Teams in relegation trouble are picking up more points than earlier because we are all desparate and give everything to win, often against opposition with players whose minds are already on the beach.
Boltons games are difficult to predict. I also believe Villa may not get anymore points or 1 at most. I think the Wigan v Blackburn game is crucial. If Newcastle and Spurs beat Wigan and Blackburn this weekend Then Blackburn beat Wigan. We are safe if we beat Stoke. That is one escape route that i have gone down.
