No great improvement on Kenny. There are far better in the lower leagues and abroad. Hughes is going to need to buy a big bargepole to not touch all these players with.
I hope we see a similar number cleared out , lot of clingers on in our squad with little or no contribution and getting rich from how rise .
Ryo Miyachi ...I would take him any time....shame he was only a lonee and gone back to arsenal I suppose....could we have him please
I'd have Reo-Coker on a free, just as cover for the middle....he is better than Buzsaky, who we are offering a years contract to.....well in my opinion
I admit he's better but isn't he also a bit of a knob. Lord knows we don't need another ego in the centre of the park...
Everton have just released 8, but haven't heard of any of them except Drenthe who was on loan from Real Madrid.
They do have a very good manager however unless of course the Grim Reaper has arrived at the Reebok with a package with the name 'Owen Coyle' written on it. The only player that I would take though iwould probably be Kevin Davies himself. Good pro who has made the most of his talent. Not everyone's cup of tea though.
What about Hoilett and the Yak from Blackburn? The Yak would be cheap and could do a good job for us for one season or so. He would also fit in nicely with our new all African look. Although he has always played for clubs in the north west and briefly for Leicester I doubt whether he'd balk at the chance of coming to London. After all, it a bit closer to home for him.
Agree on Davies, might be a touch past his best now though. Everybody raves about Snodgrass, but I haven't seen enough of him to know. One of the joys of being in the Prem, not having to fall asleep on the sofa as Claridge drones on during the football league show. Hoillet looks class, imagine there will be competition but it's about time we were confident enough to get in there on contested signings. Him or Moses. Yak bullied us at Ewood Park, but he disappears for games on end. What we do with HH, Betty and DJ will be interesting. HH was another surprise first half of the season, but age and injuries will be against him. Happily say goodbye to the other 2.
This. And definitley not Robinson, he must be a candidate for worst player every to play in the Prem.
What about Petrov??.Was he on loan to Bolton.Hes probably one of their best players!.Left footed, quick winger. Was Cookie the last left wing we had?.
According to the Ealing Gazette (I don't know if they know what they are talking about or not) Hughes has a list of 14 that nmay be looking for alternate employment next year, I read the Gazette because, my employer's does not censor it like they do this board
