I am absolutely furious that this match has been moved forward to Good Friday, and I have written to the club to tell them so.

When I book family holidays, I do so with the fixture list and the school term times in mind, and so I arranged for a week away in Norway starting Saturday 12th April. We are due to return home on the morning of the following Saturday (even this early flight was booked with the match in mind), and so I would have been able to make the Bolton game in good time, but now there is no ****ing match to return early for.

I was already pissed off that the Barnsley match had to be rescheduled for this particular week, but to miss another game for no good reason is outrageous. I'm sure plenty of parents have booked holidays to fit around the fixture list, so I'd be surprised if I'm alone in my anger.

Anyway, who would be the best person to address my letter to?

    Thanks for reading.

I understand your anger, but it's possible that the police might have been involved in this decision, so it may not be the club's fault.

It could indeed be that this match was just changed on a whim by both clubs, but I imagine there are a fair few Bolton fans who would have had advance train tickets booked for this so it seems unlikely that Bolton would have agreed to it.

I don't know who to address the letter to, I'm afraid.

I know for a fact that many Bolton and Charlton fans are angered by this decision. There has been no official explanation from either club, so it has to be said that someone is taking the piss out of the supporters. Even if it was a policing decision, the changes should have been made sooner.

I agree that the lack of explanation is shoddy. I can't think why this decision has been made.

Jose has been at pains to say how important the fans are. Not so, according to whoever made this decision. No explanation on the OS either. In fact the OS is pretty rubbish these days. I thought the brief statement that Chris Powell had left the club, without any sort of tribute was pretty horrible too. The least he deserved was a bit of respect. And now the bald statement that this game is played a day earlier is more than a tad insulting.

Having to miss the rescheduled Barnsley match is annoying enough, but the idea of missing two vital matches in the space of three days has left me raging. And it's not as if the Barnsley postponement was unavoidable, either.

Now I have to tell the missus our early return from holiday is pointless. :emoticon-0107-sweat

E mail Ben Kensall at the club.

This is a good example of why fans stop buying season tickets. We have had far too many home fixtures shifted this season.

Cheers, Vol. I shall do as you suggest.

There was another stewarding debacle in the West Upper today. I won't go in to detail, but let's just say I nearly had a fight with a dozen drunks - and not for the first time this season.

I am seriously annoyed this evening.
